2-in-1 lights

ok so i started out with 12 regular seedlings under a 250W HPS and a 250W dual spectrum side-by-side and now with the failings of a couple seeds and males being cut im left with auto 3 plants (week 3) and a photoperiod,
anyway i have been able to fit them all under 1 light, but the more light the merrier....

so what I have done is pin the 2 reflectors together to make 1 monster reflector with both lights running under it....

i would like to know....it seems okay but by doing this is there a chance they could overheat or become damaged in any way?? of course I don't want that

damaged? probably not

overheated? yes this will likely stress the plants

solution? extraction fan. cooltubes. air conditioner.

Na na my friend improv is the key to being a stoner at all

if there both the same reflector put them length ways and make an overlap of about 2cm drill holes and rivet or nut and bolt together should work fine

ronan, i'd go with nitro. have the tips of each bulb facing eachother.
i saw on ebay a dual reflector that does the same thing so it is perfectly safe. i certainly see no probs

well its been up afew days now and i moved them up a little so there okay in terms of heat stress, there not the same kind of reflector, theres 1 dimpled and one flat. theres only 4 plants under them....goin well so far.
i dont think i should rivet them together though becaus i'd like to be able to take it apart again if i need to.
ill get a pic up later on today when i sort a camera

the plants are:
pipi (photoperiod seedling- rear left)
MI5 (Auto - front left)
Autoassasin (Auto - front right)
Blue Kush (Auto - Rear right)

nice m8 you could add some mylar to the back n sides to make it enclosed and keep even more of that light focussed on the girls

yeah i already have it, i just ran outta duck tape to put it up, ya can see down the left hand side...when i get more it will be goin all around
