the garbage can grow is 12/12 from the start and using only 42 watt 2700k cfl's. This is just an experiment I thought would be fun.

The purpose is to see if i should top my plant and plant that top into the 12/12 garbage can..

4 23 watt 6500k cfl's. Is this too much light?

naa looks good, but really they should be sideways for better light dispersion. probably would only need 2 for now like that

The reason the lights are like that is because i know you can have too much light for little plants.. Also when the plant gets bigger they will be awesome side lighting. and for flowering i will trade those with 42 watt 2700k cfls for the main cola bud, that way the sides of the bulbs will be at the side of the bud and penetrate much deeper, equaling much denser bud

Well the G-can is lights off at 7 so no more of that but i will get a pic of my closet grow before the lights go out at 12.

Closet Grow Day 3

= 11am

= 11am
--- Plant seems to look very healthy. I raised the 4 23w 65k lights up so they are all now 3" from the plant.

Garbage Can Grow Day 2

= 12am

= 12am
--- Plant looks healthy. The seed came off the plant this morning. The leaves looked like they were reaching up towards the light so the 2 42w 27k bulbs were lowered so they are in a v above the plant about 3" from the plant.

you should mount the CFLs horizontally, they produce more light on their sides
