2 grow lights, 1 scrog, should I rotate MH with HPS?

So I'm about 10 days into flower on a scrog that was too big for the light it had it under (400W switchable but running MH still). So I moved in my other 400 in over it and have it running the HPS and it looks awesome.. But clearly one side is getting way more HPS and the other way more MH... I'm wondering, should I switch the bulbs every morning before the lights come on to get the full spectrum rotating?

Thanks

thats sounds like a lot of work..to do that every morning!they have light movers..pretty pricey tho!lol!i wud jus rotate the plants if possible!

Rotating the plants would be impossible... And I dont have enough room for a light mover.. Besides the work, would this be a good idea?

Yea I wud say so..the only reason I say I'd be hard..because my light has glass I have to take off to change the bulb..if urs doesn't..then it wudnt be hard at all..getting a diff spectrum is great..but mabe just put hps in both lamps!good luck!

Ah that glass in the way makes more sense... The only reason its a little difficult is cause one of my lights has a built in ballast and the MH light has to be squeezed in... It feels like its going to break everytime

yea mines the same way..havent used my mh yet..except to test the light..but i had to squeeze it in also..didnt think it was gonna fit!lol!hows ur srog goin?im gonna go that route next set up!gotta move soon..mite be a while til i get set up again..but i wanna do scrog or sog!happy growing!

Yeah I might just end up bending my hood out of the way so its easier/safer... The ScrOG is going GREAT!! I'll post up a couple of pics when i get them uploaded.. I'm growing medical so I have to keep my plant count low, otherwise I'd prob go with SOG just for the speed... Scrog certainly doesnt take too long, but no doubt longer than sog..

BUT... I'm not sure anything looks as cool as 2 plants taking up 9 square feet with nothing but a field of buds on top!!!

Here are a few shots of my scrog as of today (maybe 1 or 2 from a few days back)

Its 3 Vortex clones taken from that tall Vortex ex-mother in the back.. And if you can see it I have an old Jack Herer mother back there too

Hey thanks rockbud! Its actually 3 plants though... But they got WAY too crowded and 2 would have been able to fill the screen easy.

Its hard to gauge how long I vegged them... Cause I cloned them and left them under some of those 60w florescent (i think) bulbs that go in your incandescent socket for about 15 days... All they did was root and maybe grow 1-2 new nodes each... then I threw them under the 400W on March 5th and let them get out of control (just being lazy and a vacation). I've been lazy in notes too so i THINK I switched it over to 12/12 about 6-9 days ago.. All I do is change the RES's every tuesday and to be honest I havent been checking PH in between changes but they are at the right spot when I dump them so I'm not too worried yet.

I used a number of methods that seem to work really well for me.. Before I set up the screen I topped them all the time. Actually I started these clones as an experiment.. I topped all 3 tops of my mother then 8 hours later cloned all the tops. So I ended up with 3 clones that split right near the bottom or near the screen depending on how tall they were. And that seemed to work out really well..

I'm also a big fan of supercropping.. I pretty much use this over LST. If your not familiar, its when you break (sort of) the plant stem (usually main stalk) and lay it over sideways. I use it for 2 reasons.. First, It will make the plant think that it has no top and all the smaller branches will get more energy as they compete to be top dog.. And when It heals it will be twice the size and be able to transport more nutrients (its also twice as hard). But 2nd it will enable you to control where your plants fall on your screen a bit better once they are bigger. I have bent a branch left, right, left kinda like a stair shape in order to get the right fit on my screen and it loved it!

And on my last grow my colas got so big that by the end I had to tie branches every which direction to keep them from falling over on each other.

P.S. sorry for the long probably rambly post.. I ate my cookies I made from my trim all day (they were literally the color green btw) and finally smoked my first bowl of the day so I'm a little baked
