2 flower rooms, 1 set of lights

Trying to price out lights for flower rooms. By the time I add samsung, osram, cmh the price limits the number of rooms i can start with

since the schedule is 12/12, does anyone know of a grow that has lights on tracks that shift between rooms or tables on conveyors?

I was already thinking of having rooms on opposite schedules, I’m upgrading to 400 amp service and already think its not enough for everything on at once.

I’ve seen the tulip systems converted for cannabis but dont know if I’m missing something?

I have heard of people using one ballast to fire a bulb in one room, then a bulb in another (12/12 flip). Not exactly sure how it's done though.

Thats called a flip box. One ballast will run 2 lights 12 on each. If price is a limiting factors why not plug in a few hps lights.

dont want to look back at money left on the table because i missed something. figured someone else has these constraints and maybe found a work around. taking it slow is probably better anyway but the value of a cbd lb isnt comparable to thc. when state goes recreational i want enough to setup a real shop

I went thru the same thing , I tried a light rail with some success but the logistics of it proved to much to handle working a real job 70hours a week.

I ended up just buying more light and once I recoup a bit of costs I'll add another or maybe 2

12/12 30 Amp FlipBox. Approx 550 USD.
Will run 4 1K ballast and 8 Hoods, 4 in each room on 12/12 split schedule. That's what I'll do if I decide to double down from my 4K flower room on a 30 Amp controller.
