what do you do with dry buds if they are very crispy to the touch? they dried too fast on me, humidity is about 30% here. the fan wasn't hitting the bud either and it stilled dried so fast it feels like I can crush them into fine dust

should i put them into mason jars next? will that draw some moisture from the center?

use a paper bag for a couple hours. If that doesnt work throw a orange peel in the bag too

Put them in jars imediately, after 3 to 4 hrs check to see if they are still dry and crispy, try a few more hrs, if they are still too dry you can place a small orange peel in it but once too dry it may be too late. you could also place a small hygrometer in too check the moisture content, you're looking for 50 to 60%, best of luck to you.

i tried the orange peel in a mason jar and it did the trick, thanks for the tip.

buds went from crispy dry to moist now. :hump: should i take them out of the jar periodically too or is opening the lid once a day for 15 min enough to prevent mold?

i am going to put a small hygrometer in there now, what is the optimal humidity/RH inside the curing jars?

Here is a good sticky on using a hygrometer: https://www.rollitup.org/harvesting-curing/514841-perfect-cure-every-time.html

Definitely your air temps are to high...70 degrees is in the area you wanna be.High temp degree thc and I know you wanna get you bang for buck. I designed simple drying box the uses to computer fans to intermittently exchange the air every 20 mins. ..

50% to 60% moisture, glad to hear that the orange peel worked.

leave open for 3hrs then start burpin like normal, twice the first 2 days, once a day for a week, after that then every 3days for the nxt week, then youll prolly jst open as u smk... keep in jars... Youll want at least a 2wk cure for sure longer the better.... ps nxt time take a squirter bottle and mist the lid of the jar the day its too dry and it will come rite back, not too much tho
