I plan on growing in a small cardboard box. It is approximately 1' x 1' and I was wondering if two 26w or 100w equivalent would be enough for one plant? Also for flowering should I have 2 soft light 2700k light bulbs or 1 daylight 6500k and 1 soft light 2700k? +rep for good info

hey bro, check out my Grow, im 4 weeks into flowering and I got by using 3 23W (actual) CFL's. I would say use as many bulbs that can fit in that space. My box has similar dimensions to yours and 3 will get you up to my point, sufficiently. More light = bigger plant & yield.

I would go with a pair of 42 watt bulbs, that's actual wattage, not equivalent. forget that number its useless to us.

Get a bigger box , like one from U-haul. one foot is not enough room to flower even one plant. I flipped my switch to 12/12 at 6 inches and thats been 6 days ago and its grown several inches since. plants can triple in size during flowering so even at 6 inches you would need more than a foot vertical room.

6500k for vegging and 2700k for flowering.
Get the largest bulbs you can afford.

If you stick with an autoflower strain, I do not think it matters which range the light is in.

I'm currently growing 3 plants, 12/12 from seed, with 2 - 26watt (blue) and 2 - 42watt (red) CFL's.. for a total of 136 watts.. which is more than enough for the small space i'm using..
