I dont think its a problem or anything like that, just a funny genetic trait I have never seen before and wanted to share. Im sure a lot of you guys have seen this and probably wont be impressed or anything but I thought it was cool.

Strain is GSC but im not sure of the breeder as these were handed down to me and they came in a seeded pound but every one has been female lol.

Anyways heres a couple photos of two branches growing from a single node. This plant has never been topped btw.

Loss of apical dominance, stress.
that plant did get a little bit of a rougher start than i usually care for. these seeds i have are starting to go bad too i can see a lot of them starting to split open in the bag and theyre 3 years old now not properly stored apparently.

i also gave her a dose of nutes a little too strong and a little too soon and her lower leaves are pretty wavy. im using megacrop and i think the ph fluctuates when it goes in to heavy, i had the same problem last grow and it sorted itself out with just water after a little bit.

ill research those i didnt know there was a technical term for something like this lol

Mainly it sounds like your overfeeding, dont ph if in soil.

i dont do anything with ph in soil. im also organic, the megacrop has ph buffers in it so when the plant is overfed with too strong of a solution i think it throws off the ph of the soil. ive been correcting it with just plain water and they come back to normal vigorous growth. my tap water comes out at like 7.2ish according to strips but i just leave that alone as well.

if i keep feeding them when they are overfed they start to display what i think is calcium lock out and it gets the rust colored spots all over the leaves, i had that issue midflower with my glueberry og but it all sorted itself out with plain water feedings.

another thing i noticed looking back at my photos is how vibrantly green they are, kinda too dark for my liking. i rarely get to see my plants in natural light with the LEDs because i tend to just forget about them. i feel like if i check on them EVERY single day the process takes a lot longer and they dont grow as fast lol.
