hey guys I redid my whole tent setup yesterday night and I just wanted to show you guys what I did. Anyone here have any suggestion in keeping the temp down? Or any suggestion on a better way to reroute the setup? It was over a hundred yesterday and the plants that I'm flowering got pretty burnt up. I'm just running a open tent for now until I go pick up my a/c today. Please shine in guys....

yea 2x 600 watts will require a lot of cooling. i have a 9000 btu AC cooling my single 600 watt hps, and it struggles to cool the entire room. what made you decide to go with 2x 600watts for a 4x4? I have the same size grow area, but a single 600 watter

Yea I have 1 600 watter in my 4x4 tent I it does take alot to keep it at 79 to 80. alot of trying differnt venting methods. it took me about a month to get it running perfect, but by the time I got the temp down I stunted all the plants the first 2 weeks. 2 600's in a 4x4 i dont see the point you would be better off with 1 1000. instead of trying to cool 2 lamps.

my buddy has a 1000w in his 4x4 and it seem alot hotter then my 2 600w. I also figure with 200 more watts and cooler lights why not.... Plus I only set this up to see how this will work out if i cant keep the temp down I'll just put one of my 600 in my other tent.

yea well if you can get cool do it, it just seems alot easer to rangle 1 then 2. I just know how much trouble i had with 1 600. I started with a 1000 but could not get it cool in the closet. I had the closet insulated to much, soundproof foam on all walls, ceiling, floor. The IR myler on all walls and ceiling so i had to remove the 1000 and put a 600 withe XXXL Hood to get maximum light spread.

nice set up! I belive if you can put your lights at the same height of your fan, then you will increase cfms. Not sure how your lights are hanged, but if you can raise em to that height and maybe put the girls on blocks to keep em closer to the light for now would be good.

Its my understanding that, that angle going up and into the fan could be adding a stress point to your air flow. If its not a big hassle to move that up and give it a go, it might be worth trying it out. Summer time sure is a hard time.
