2 600 w hps how much coverage?

i have 2 600 w hps cool sun reflector. how much coverage can i get from these lights?

a standard 600w in a normal reflector will accomplish

1.2mx1.2m

or

4ftx4xft

so for 2 600w in a standard reflector will cover

2.4x2.4

or

8ftx8ft

shouldn't it be 4x8, as in 4x4x2?

My two 2 600's placed end to end 10" apart at a height of 14" effectively cover an area of 7 feet long by 3.5 feet wide. This was calculated over the course of 3 hours with a lux meter and a measured grid system. I'm getting around 60k lux in the center and 30k on the edges. The light falls of quickly from the ends of the hood.

If you haven't purchased your hoods yet, look at the super sun 2's. Higher reflectivity and more even spread than many other hoods
