so I got these lowrider / ak47 breed and Think they might be auto flowering, not sure. Am using hydroponic system and 3 part nuits micro, bloom, grow. am also a first time grower but have done a solid 75+ hours of research over the past few months

Problem I am having is my plants are flowing too soon. I First planted the seeds in jiffy witch I will not be doing again, but rockwool next time. Germination took 2 days to sprout and an additional 5 to be large enough to put into my hydroponic box. Plants have been in the box for 11 days now, they are clearly showing sex. large pistols and flower buds showing but plants are still very small you can see in picture uploaded. I have been using the 18/6 since seedlings that used T5 lights, then switch to 400w hps Hydroponic grow box. The plants are only 2 and a half weeks old. should I switch to 12/12 now ? or can i wait say 3-4 more days or even a week or more for plants to grow taller before switching to 12/12,

Is there something else beside's lighting that could have shocked these plants into flowing ? because my light has been plugged into same timer since seedling stage. had 1 issue with PH while in tank and water temp changes up to 64-77F every night and day but not always that much. would that affect it ?
Any advice is appreciated, Thanks.

In your 75 hours of research, you seemed to have missed one vital tidbit: lowryder is an autoflowering strain, so your light cycle will not have any affect (besides lowering yeild).

did not know if it was auto flowering but knew it would be a small plant. but only 2.5 weeks to flower ? seems fast

No, autoflowers in flowering can take 18 / 6 - 24/ 0 Actually they need it. They will not switch back to veg no matter what you do to them.

yes but autoflowers have been proven to get the most yeild, it gets light for growth of foliage and night time for root development. and it the perfect combnation. but 18/6 -24/0 work fine as well...
