2.4 X 1.2metre grow tent how many plants?

Hi i was just wondering if anybody has got a 2.4 X 1.2 grow tent and how many plants i should have in this tent to be able to get around 3oz per plant also what height should i veg my plants to i am going to be growing some uk cheese? I will have 2 600w hps lights in this grow and around 15ltr pots? Thankyou

here are a couple of examples of what you could do, both have advantages and draw backs.

grow 9 plants per light in 11l pots of coco, veg for two weeks and then into flowering, you could easily get 2oz per plant and it would only take around ten weeks to do a crop.

grow 4 plants per light in 20l pots of coco with a 4 week veg, top them once about 2 weeks into veg giving them time to recover and bush out more. you will get 5+oz a plant if you do it right. if you don't have ready access to clones i would recommend doing less grows per year using less plants but try and concentrate on maximum yield per harvest.

both methods work out quite similar in overall yield over the space of a year. if you can be efficient with the down time on harvests, the first way is more productive but requires a lot more work, also worth noting you will be growing more plants and plant numbers are what get people in trouble in some situations.

if you want a more regular crop you should try the first method but i would advise you get some sort of vegetative tent to grow in so you can supply your own clones and be ready.

i have done multiple successful grows in 8x4 tents with 2x600w hps so i can at least pass some of what i have learned on to you.

Hi sorry for the late reply i have now got all my setup and i am now just waiting on some clones of uk cheese. I was thinking of doing the second option that you recomended but was just wondering weather i should cut of any of the bottom arms as iv heard that these dont realy get light and dont produce buds just waist energy? Were abouts should i top the plant from the very top or how many nodes down? Thankyou for your help mate

Or what would be a good plant for high yeild with a strong smell?

if you can, get a good cheese cut and grow that, it produces well and is easy to grow.
do 4 plants per light in 20l coco, veg for 3-4 weeks and you should get 500 grams per light without any extra work but trimming the lower branches off.

I have a 2m x 2m tent , purple stardawg I use 4 600w hps , using 6 25ltr bubble pots and I'm getting 60oz there or there abouts every time , lst (low stress training) bend your girls down and keep tieing them down to get all bottom branches up, tops a few time or even fim , if you want 3oz per plant id find a new hobby lol, hydro is the easiest way , even nft , wrote this for all the people who come across this post here in 2020 4-5 weeks veg and some training and you'll be smahing it

Im about to do my first grow in a few year just purchased a
1.2x2.4 tent
8" fan and filter
2 600w dimmable ballasts
12x 16ltr fabric pots

I am gona use coco this first time but building my own nft next.

I planned on 6 per light with dutch pro nutes

Im hoping to get 2-3oz per plant from them in 12 weeks
