2 1000 watt hps, or 2 600 watt hps..?

Either way i look at it im confused.. I'm working on the ventilation and wondering if I should use 2 1000 watters or 2 600's. I here watt per watt the 600's are better and produce more lumens. The area is a are conditioned, 36 site pvc hydroponic setup with 60 gallon resivour. 600 gph water pmps drip system. It a shed with basically 8ft X 8ft 10ft high..

What im saying is I here alot about 1k watters being hot and 6oo being cooller and a tag stronger. what should I use..?

600s are very efficient but the thing is they arent as bright.

I say the 1000's! watt for watt the 600 might be more lumens per watt, but total lumens for the 2000's are alot higher then 1200

and if its air conditon there should be no problem with heat
or if its a option use 3 600 you get more lumen's more coverage and less watt's

Lol for 36 plants? c'mon pay attention.

2 600's on 1 light mover will do good... The thing is when you get caught up on lumen output and all that stuff, marijuana thrives at far less lumens then both of these lights put out... I have read from top growers that they choose to stay 24 inches away from light at all times, so I guess it's all going to come down to what you wish to achieve in the end... I use two 600's in a 6'x7' room, but I am vertical. And where I am from, most growers choose 6's. Good luck, and if I was you in an 8'x8', I would drop 2 k's right down the center of that room and run between 2 and 6 shelves and ditch that whole 36 site hydro set up.... or revamp it to run around the room. Just my 2 cents

It didnt take any money at all... Old shed laying in the back yard, my red nose pit bull, and terd boxer all included But seriousley, pvc was laying around from our pool we had built just laying around.

4 5 ft pvc pipes- 40$
600gph pump-50 used
60 ish gallon trash can- 20$
2- 600 watt llights, found 2 on ebay for 300 together.

Running all power threw a 40 volt washer/dryer plug so no shorts

For the electrical use being high and caousing suspision should be a problem because we run our pool on all summer and a/c and run no pool or hot tob during the winter because its down...

I just figured 2 600s for now because in about 6 months im getting into 2 rooms. 1 flower/ 1 veg so the room will be smaller later down the road so the 600's would be perfect...
screws, misc pvc for watering, dripers and cups 30ish...

Alot of hard ass work in the sun and a bunch of dro rolled in cigarillos got it done.
