my 2 1/2 week old plant has little leaves sprouting, where the flower's are suppose to be..are those leaves normal at this early stage?? I was told to run a 4/20 cycle, 4 off 20 on...but then I realized, because im using Fluoro's, that a 24hr cycle is neccessary. Please let me know if I have already started the flowering process on accident, or if it's normal to have those small leaves sprouting from the nodes. Thank's

You didn't induce flowering at 2 1/2 weeks with 20/4 light. A picture of the leaves would be helpful.

The "leaves" you're seeing are either stipules (which all cannabis plants have and are not indicative of flowering) or simply secondary shoots growing from the nodes. Both are normal, and neither are signs of flowering. Cannabis needs at least 12 hours of darkness per day for an extended time in order to begin flowering, unless it's an autoflowering strain (which still wouldn't flower at 2 weeks old, so don't worry!).

I use floros and my plants aren't on a 24/0 light cycle and never have been. You don't have to give them 24 hours of light unless you WANT to, but I find that some darkness is good for the plants. Gives them time to rest =)

ill post some pic's a little later today. I really didn't think that it was possible to enduce flowering with 20/4 light, especially for only a few day's of it. I suppose they're just extra shoot's, which is a good thing!!! Do fluro's alway's produce small plant's....at least cool bulb fluro's
