1st Week Flowering - 138 True Watts - Bagseed - Soil

7 days of 12/12

6 - 23 Watt CFL's (3 - 2700k, 3 - 6500k)
Generic potting soil
Oneness nutrients feeding full strength every other watering.
Day temps - 85f
Night temps - 68f

As these have been growing I have run into several problems, all of which have now been hashed out. The pH of my tap water is around 7.8, so that was a main culprit of the problems I was having. I have since corrected this issue.

As I eat fruit, and drink coffee, I boil up all the grinds in water, and feed them that as well, in between nutrient feedings. They seem to love it, and I don't mind munchin!

One smells like a skunk, the other smells like cat piss.

Enjoy the pics. Will update again in a few days.

You can really notice the damage on this one, I almost lost her.

I have got it down to 6.6 after nutrients are added.

Yes they are just bagseed from some mids.

How old is she, we are doing something similar. Bagseed, 6 x 26 watt bulbs. all 6500k right now only 2 weeks into veg.

how long you veg?
I vegged for approximately 6 weeks, but almost lost them to a bug infestation and shitty water. They should be a lot bigger, but they were stunted.

They have been flowering now for 8 days, and are in great health.

I feed them 10ml/Gallon of Humboldt Oneness nutes every other week, and it has made all the difference. They have literally grown 3 inches in the last week, and the leaves are turning dark green and almost waxy in nature as you can see.

She is 8 weeks old today, germinated on January 1st. Part of my new years resolution is to grow pot again after a 10 year break. :-P

Good luck to you, bagseed grows well, it is a very tough plant due to the nature of its genetics. Make sure to pH your water, and keep the temps normal, and you'll be fine.

I also highly recommend Humboldt Oneness, really great stuff, and cheap too on eBay.

Once these are harvested I am going to grow some name brand shit. Last time I grew pot I literally had to fly to Amsterdam and sneak the seeds back here to the US. Things have changed quite a bit in the last decade. I had no idea until recently that you could order seeds!

and im not really sure how good it is adding those grinded up fruits and def not cofee beans cuz i heard coffee beans have a lot of nitrogen in them which you really dont need in flowering i hope someone can approve that statement but thats just IMO

i have heard the same thing about coffee grounds, would like to hear how it works out for you King. I just started my plant into flower yesterday, hopefully I can learn from someone a bit ahead of me. How long do you plan on flowering for?

Until they are ripe man.

Also, the coffee grinds work great, just be sure to ph the water, or you'll be fucked like I was.

lol, wasn't trying to be a smart ass! I just can't give an answer to that yet, as they are bagseed and I have no idea how long they will take. I expect a full 8 weeks, they look predominately sativa, and I know those take a little longer than indies.

As far as the coffee grinds go, I only feed them that when I am not feeding them nutes.

What I do exactly is; Take 2 banana peels, some coffee grinds(used of course) and I let them simmer in water for about an hour. Then I strain all of the material out of the water, and dilute it with a half a gallon of regular tap water, and apply liberally. The nitrogen from the coffee grinds will help with the veg, the bananas will also give it some natural potassium. Also you can grind up eggshells and just throw them on top of the soil. They are good for calcium.

Hope this helps.

come check out my latest updates video and pics day 57 of flower hers a sample
I checked that out, very nice, very nice indeed. What is that you are growing? Is it just bagseed?

Yes they almost died. I started with 3 beans, all of them were female, but I killed one cause it wasn't developing as nice as the other 2. It's my belief that anyone can get a female from any seed, you just gotta treat em right. I'm sure I will hear some argument on that note, but I never get males, maybe I'm just lucky.

I measure pH with a meter, and I don't use chemicals to adjust, I just use baking soda to lower the pH. I have never had to raise it, my tap water is at 7.8 as it is.

It doesn't hurt it at all. Just cause you don't need it doesn't mean it isn't good for it. These are natural nutrients, and they are already diluted for the most part, they break down easily, and I can't think of any reason why your plant shouldn't get all the nutes all the time. I understand that certain nutes are better for this and that, but to each his own.

Also, I haven't added any coffee grinds since flowering started. For that very reason. So I'm not arguing with you, just debating.

Fed full nutes last night, added 4 42w CFLs (2700k) and kept remaining lights as well, so now up to 306 actual watts.

Not expecting to get much at all off of these, maybe a 1/4 oz, but getting back into the habit of growing has been a blast, and that's what it's all about for me.

Once I harvest these I am going to invest in some good genes, go for 6 big ones. My cabinet was built for 6, but I had to make sure I still knew what I was doing!

Pic Update!

Trichrome production apparently began last night and is at full force. I swear every time I look at them they have more and more crystals on them.

Headed to Orlando in a few days, so this is my last update for a couple of weeks.

Pray for me as I leave my babies in the hands of a trusted, yet inexperienced associate.

Friend didn't kill them while I was gone, so that's good.

Won't be too much longer now!! Lookin' good for bag seed as well.

Thanks bud, yeah it actually does look purple, not much, but a little. I brought it out with some post processing on the pics.

One is a little purple, the other is very lime green. Both smell fantastic though!
