Hello R.I.U. Community. 1st timer here, don't want to do this wrong. Would hate to see my girls die because I didn't better educate myself...

q1: Using two 4ft" T8's - Specs, Cooler Daylight / 32W / 2,700Lumens / 6,500K. Will these work fine?

q2: After the initial sprouting, how long after, shall I transfer them to pots? Currently using these: http://www.Ak12.hi.us/~ckuroda/oasis.jpg

q3: I am in the first week 1/2 of growing, I noticed two leafs that don't look like Marijuana leafs, (First ones that appear) what are these called? What purpose do they serve?

q4: When are those 2 leafs suppose to die? Because mine died already.

q5: What product can you get good nitrogen from? Also where and generally how much does this product cost?

q6: How long after sprout generally, should I have a full grown leaf?

q7: Anyone had experience with LED's? Thinking about getting two 14W ALL RED and two 14W ALL BLUE and two 14W ALL WHITE.

q8: What temperature/humidity levels are best, from past experience?

q9: Best way to keep a room's humidity level at an average?

q10: Rumor has it, a bit of urination mixed with the water can help the plant (Due to nitrogen within the urine) any truth to this? If so, generally how much urine should be added?

I will probably have more questions soon, so please stay tuned and updated on viewing. Thanks in advance.

q4: they die off soon after the first sets of leafs grow

q5: just got to any garden center and look at the back of the fert try to find high nitrogen about 18n-8p-10k n=nitrogen p =poshpours k= potassium
it cost like 5-6 bucks

q6; about the thir or fourth set of leafs time depends all plants are diffrent

q7: i let the sun do my work sorry

q8: temp around 70-85 f and humidity i say around 70% i know too high causes mold

how many plants? I would supplement them with cfl's as well regardless of answer
You will also want to switch to warm lamp something in the 3000k range for flowering.

q3 - they hold the initial nutes that the plant burns up as it first starts going while it lays down nutes.
They will as said above die off in time

As for the "Lumens" and "K" what are the differences and advantages? Meaning, you said when I get into flowering, I want to have 3,000K - what exactly does this number and letter represent? I thought the higher the number the better. Also, what are Lumens?

Sorry for all the questions, but lastly, CFL's, what exactly does that stand for and the advantages in using them? Thank you!

a lumen is a unit of light measurement.. 1 lumen is equal to the amount of light i candle puts off 1 foot away from an object.. ideally you want 3000 lumens per square foot for flowering and 5000 to 10000 lumens per square foot to flower.. although lower amounts of lumens will still get results...

K, which stands for kelvin, is a way to identify the color temperature.. in the 2000k to 3000k range are the warm colors, reds and oranges, that are best for flowering.. cooler temperatures, in the 6000K range, are the blues that are best used for vegging...

the advantage is if you give your light the proper light spectrum during the right phase of growth you get MUCH better results..

sorry.. stoned and missed something...

CFL = compact flourescent bulb... they are good for small grows.. closet grows.. basically places where heat can be an issue.. they can be kept closer to your plants than HID lights, but they are not as strong as HID so you need more of them...

Awesome information. Every little bit helps. Glad to see everyone is so willing to share knowledge for others and for the girls of course. Will help, dramatically. Please stay tuned, as I progress I will probably ask many more noob questions.
