1st Timer. I NEED HELP!

What's up everyone. This is my first of many post to come as I journey you through my first time growing. I've soaked in all I could from people like you and e-books all over the web. After browsing through many of the sites I've come to make an account for this site and share with you all my first grow. Here we go..

Setup -

Strain : 2 x Herojuana & 2 x Candy Bubba clones.

Lights : Ultraglow™ T5 2 feet with four 24W fluorescent tubes. On a 18/6 schedule. From 8:00pm - 2:00pm.

Containers : 1 Gallon (4 Liters) Smart Pot™. Filled with Hydroton. Planted in rock wool and into a Sure To Grow™ surrounded by more hydroton.

Nutrients : FloraNova Grow , Hydrozyme

P/H Level : 5.8-6.3

Temp & Humidity : 65-75`F & 50-60% humidity.

Maintenance : Manually Dip, Soak and Drain regime. Water 5 minutes before lights come on, half-way through lights on and 2-3 hours before lights off.


Well to my problem. Some of my plants seem a bit droopy and seem to be growing yellowish new growth. Can anyone narrow out the problem?

It sounds like you are probably overwatering them. The rockwool should dry out a little before the next watering. How much nutrients are you putting in? Full strength?

1/3rd strength. I've stopped dipping it in my reservoir and starting just mist watering the hydroton and not the leaves. They look better since this morning. I'll keep an update. Thanks GyrlGrower.

Also got a R/O system. I don't know how to use it nor do I think I ever will. Will sell for cheap if you're local.
