Yea i hear that mr west but i thought i had another week of veg left, they have gone mental in the last week.
Ive had my lights running from 4am till 10pm in the veggin process and i know ideally that i should start the 12-12 at 4am too but its gunna be alot more beneficial to me running them from 7am to 7pm,those extra 3hrs of darkness wont cause too much stress will it?....ive read a few times in different forums that you can leave them in the dark period 36hrs before inducing flower so im hoping it wont make any difference.

Mines broke the ground on 6/02 but they went under a 15w fluo for the first 2 weeks and a 150MH after that.. they are 8 inches now ..check my journal if you like.

About WW height.. you may want to look in to this.. WW under 1000W 85l container by PRO

Yea man, I actually don't do my final prune until the end of week 3 flower. At that point you have a better idea of what the final shape and height will be. I'll cut one or two lower branches for clones in the first week of flower but I leave the rest of the trimming until week 3. So keep in mind what I said about the top two feet of canopy. Any budsites above that should be kept. All the ones that are drawn in red in my masterpiece LOL are the ones I would cut off. Notice how the higher up you trim the smaller in width the plant will get. So if your plants are crammed real tight together you would want to trim up higher. If you can space the plants apart a lot then you don't have to remove as much. So just let your plants flower for three weeks and then see how tight your space is. Any budsites that are in constant shade should go.

haha did you get some crayons for christmas mared ;)
hi maf,yea plants are doing great man.
Mared am i right in thinking that you take the first node "completely" off? also im still not sure if i feed them the bloom nutes with every feed?(twice weekly)
measured the plants today and they are at 27inches from the floor including pots so the plants are actually around 17-18 inches

I actually end up cutting off the bottom five or six nodes. You're going to have many many branches and many many nodes. I remember on my first grow I was under the impression that in flower they would stop growing new leaves and branches and just stretch taller. They will actually begin to grow new nodes, leaves, and branches faster than ever before until about week 4 when they will stop. I probably end up chopping the majority of growth the plant had in veg and leaving only that which grew during flower. So just study your plants as they grow in these first few weeks and then look how ridiculously crowded the bottom 1/3 of the area will get. Those lower branches will get really long as they reach for the light and if you were to leave them on the plant they would be falling all over the floor once they get any bud mass on them. I'm sure you won't be as aggressive as I am with my trimming but just give at least one plant the treatment and compare it to the others at harvest.

And yes, feed every time.

Sweet cheers mared
ive been looking at them tonight and i reckon the bottom 2 nodes can come off now,i presumed my plants would stretch and only grow maybe 1 or 2 more nodes.btw ive got a mate who im gunna pass the cuttings off to...he's gunna grow 2 mothers and keep em back for cloning himself so i will have a constant supply of femmed white widow cuttings whenever i need them...time to look for a new strain :)

That's awesome dude. Not sure what exact method your friend is using to clone but make sure to tell him to keep the cuttings warm, clean, and wet. I make sure that the water in my cloning tray always stays 80-85 degrees and it gets changed out every other day at least. The only times I've been unsuccessful with cloning is when I've let the water get too cold or too stagnant with algae buildup. Also you want to have a humidity dome which you lift off at least twice a day and spray them down well with plain water when you do. And less light is better. One 26 watt CFL about a foot away is all you need for cuttings. Too much light will make them yellow out before they root. Oh, one more piece of cloning advice. Keep the water around 5.5 ph. Low ph makes it harder for algae and bacteria to reproduce.

New genetics, huh? Too bad we don't live in the same country. I could have helped you out. I've done it for others. Half of my strains were gifted to me as well. My highest recommendation of what I've grown is pretty cheap though. Those Jock Horror beans from Nirvana cost me $28 and it is for sure my bread and butter. I have seven different strains going but more than 1/3 of my plants are Jock if that tells you anything. But maybe you want to try something new... makes it more exciting IMO. My next seed purchase will be from Elite Genetics (but they aren't cheap). I frequent another site where the breeder is a member. Very impressive stuff from this guy. This might get deleted because you aren't supposed to leave links to other sites here but go to this address, minus the spaces of course. S K U N K S K O O L . C O M Then go to the "Elite Grow Journals" section. I'm definitely getting the Lemon Larry and one of the Chemdawg crosses. This guy is breeding with legendary clone-only strains.

I dunno how he's doing the clones tbh...i will find out later but thanks for the tips,i will pass em along :)
OMG!!!....WTF have i done!..haha
Ok so i took off the bottom 2 nodes from each plant and also the secondary stems from nodes 3+4,i must admit that it facking killed me to do it but it has opened up the plants to the light and it IS alot less crowded(good advice as per usual).Man,theres a hell of alot of clones for my friend....he owes me bigtime :)
Gave them a feed and put them back under so alls good so far.
Ive been giving them a 1ltr of feed each every 3 1/2 days but im thinking that this is not enough, theres nothing wrong with the plants though but i was thinking of upping it to 1ltr every 2 days.
Other than that nothing else to report for now,i will update with pics at the weekend as my beautiful plants look a tad bald atm....I'm sorry girls...RAWR!

what it also does is lets the air flow round the plant better aswell as opening it to the light.
