I usually try to open up the middle so the main colas make a crown or circle in shape, all about the same height. This allows the middle to really bush out with the added light that is getting down through the canopy. The middle will fill out extremely quickly and catch up to the LST'ed branches. The whole idea is to maximize efficiency and amount of strong branches and lots of good sized colas. As long as you aren't using metal wiring or something abrasive you can pretty much use anything to train, tie, or hold up the branches.

Ya I've already noticed the middle growth take off since last night/lst

I used pipe cleaners, seemed to work ok, will prob look into the rubber coated version for future grows tho.

Amazon sells dirt cheap to here in America. I spent like 5$ for 26 feet of a roll got 3 packs. An got extra extra holes drilled around the rim of pot to hook the ties too.

Get these!!! I've used several different types of ties and these are hands down my favorite ones.
It's like a cozzy pillow or what . Can't beat 3 dollars free shipping too? I wouldn't buy no clips though when I can just hook it through a hole. That's just me personally super foam may take more space an less leaf space. Just imagining it

Personally I use the Hydrofarm horticulture products garden soft ties. I bought mine at the local grow store but they are $8.34 on American Amazon.

I'd say go to Amazon if it's cheaper. Whatever you think but there called "twisty ties 26ft." If your in America though everything is free shipping for holiday season. It's $5.29 delivered I been tying all day
