1st time grower

I have 1 top-44, it is doing very well, 12", 3 wks old today, i would have had more but my beans did not germ. My problem is that im germing sum white widow, and will need my cfl box ( 125w ) for my babys. So should i move the 1 plant into my HPS box ( 400W ) and start to flower it,12/12, or continue to veg on 18/6. of course i dont know the sex yet, hoping for a lady.

You can start flowering your top-44 whenever you are comfortable doing so (whenever it is as big as you like it to be). Perhaps you could keep the top-44 in your cfl box right up until you need to put your white widow in there. Move the top-44 to your hps box and hope for the best. Scrap it if its male, rejoice if its female.

yeah, you can flower anytime. i would leave it in the veg. box if you have room for it with your babes. at least for another week if you want to get a max yield. (assuming its a girl). but it wouldnt be too bad to flower at 3 weeks. remember that pants can double in size by the time they are finished flowering.

its just that i have the cfl just above the 1 plant, i guess i could just stack the new babys ontop of stuff to get them closer, dont want to stretch them

try to keep them closer than a foot. no further than 9 or 10 inches away from the babes. they will be good.

god its exciting when you get close to flowering time... im a month in and only 3 more weeks then I'm going to start the cloning...it's gunna be sweet!

have the lite on during the day or nite????

depends on where your grow room is. some people always have light on during the day to supplement natural sunlight. if you have the lights on at night, make sure the plants night cycle doesnt get interupted.

light on in the day is usually best, unless heat is a prob.

to start heat wont be a prob, during the day, but towards the end it might,
think im gonna go with lite on at 7pm until 7am, i have a very lite tight bow, with an inline fan and a seperate fan for exhaust.
