1st time grower stressed! Yellowing marks all over the plant. For about 4 days now.

If you aren't growing in a Hydro set up, checking runoff is pointless.

Checking runoff is for soil-less and coco.

For soil and peat grows you buffer what goes in and the run off doesn't matter.
I see. Never thought of it that way. I mean I know soil is a buffer against ph issues but always figured having those ppm runoff figures was an aid to know when to increase/decrease feeds, flush etc.

1600 ppm is quite high depending on which scale you are. Would be preferable to use ec. Definitely shouldn't be lacking any nutrients

Are you using organic biobizz fertiliser? Brown smelly stuff or synthetics, the clear solutions. Why I ask is because it would be a strong mix for organics as it doesn’t show much (read) on the ec truncheon, whereas for synthetics a 1.6
is all good.
These are what I've been using. Think I shd switch to the general hydroponics in the back? 15988832347534198920206693571802.jpg

How can you judge ppm of soil when soil naturally holds nutrients?

Mix your nutrients, buffer to 6.2-6.5, feed.

If the plant starts to show defeciency, add more nutes. If it starts to show an excess, back the nutes off.

Ppm only matters for Hydro set ups. Flushing is only for salt build ups.

Great choice of organic nutrients, but you fed them very strongly. I made this mistake when I switched to organics from synthetics. I went by what the ec truncheon said, being that I’ve used synthetics for years. Better to go by physical measurement, so if it says to use 4-5 ml per litre only use half that. For example 200-250ml of bloom per 100l. Then when using the boost only use 1ml per litre, instead of 2. My tank water measures 0.4 when left to stand for 24 hours and when I use the measurements above it shows only 0.8 when dosed with bloom and raises to 1.0-1.2 when topped up with boost. The plants react to that strength as though it’s fairly strong. Whereas I used to take the ec as high as 1.8-2.2 when using synthetics. Your soil is hot, meaning it’s strong. Bat mix soil is strong, then you added charge (I use it, it’s great) but strengthened your soil, then you hit it with a strong feed. To be fair, you probably won’t need to feed them throughout the whole cycle. Use enzymes like cannazym when you water, look this stuff up. Don’t go mad on the flush but get that humidity up high and they will green up. Hang wet towels inside the tent.

Awesome. Thanks again Sensei!

Update lol. Still got no clue what's stressing baby girl out but were gonna keep going. Its days 33. Autoflower Roadrunner lets see what she turns into. Buds look kinda tiny for day 33 though or am I just an overbearing parent?

It's not just read the plant, that's your problem right there, using runoff to decide how much to feed, it won't work that way.
