If you run 60w in that small a space I would highly recommend you start them at lower increments of time so you don't fry them before they are used to UVB. It's like going to Mexico in January, you have to be worried about getting burnt because you have no tan. Your plants have no tan, and 60w is a fairly high dose in that small of a box. Start them off with like 2 hours and increase it each day until you get to a full cycle or you see the plants respond negatively.
Done! sir! so 2 hours day 1 until 12 hours say Day 7, easy enough! I ordered the 2 of Zilla 11410 Desert 50 UVB Fluorescent Bulb, 20-Watt Coil instead.
You got a 5% UVB version instead of the 10% UVB versions I recommended. It's ok, but half as effective, so don't bother going to 2 hours, start at 4 and go to full within 3-4 days.

That lighting system looks great, I don't think it's worth a thousand dollars though, plus I'm at the end of my 1st and final grow (at least for the next year or so, as I will be overseas)
I'm guessing that order hasn't shipped, should be easy to fix that mistake. I would run the vent to the bathroom at least periodically to try to remove as much moisture as possible. Do it when you are the only one around, just run the duct in the bathroom door, and turn on the vent for a couple hours when you get the chance.
That is a pretty cool deal. I don't like the comparisons against HPS/MH turned down to match it's watts though. I wish they just ran 4 of the plasma's against a 1000w. Turning the HPS/MH down drops it's efficiency so their test was an unfair one in my opinion. I would love to see a fair side by side both running in their efficiency sweet spot and similar watts
Agreed, I added 2 of those lights I mentioned earlier (the other two I will run on those 4 potted girls, will definitely run the ducts every night for at least 8 hours (On time is 8 PM, I'll run the ducts at 11pm until 8 am when I go to work, most people would be in their apartment or sleeping during that time)
4 would smoke them. I have 4 plants under it now. 2 peppers 1 tomato 1 5ft thai hybrid plant. Just imagine what it can do. I did a thread on here with a small grow. With it

Looks good but I'd bend that bitch over n tie her down those LEDs like to be higher above plants than most.
