1st time germination

I have just started germination, it has been a couple of hours and the paper towel is starting to dry out.

Do I keep this paper towel damp?

yes keep it kind of wet till the seed cracks and wrap the cup or what ever u have it in,in plastic wrap so it doesnt dry out and in 2 or 3 days it should be ready to plant
