Hey all. Brand new to the site and I wanted to start off by saying that it is has already provided me with a ton of useful info and the people here seem very helpful. On to the specifics. ... so I'm doing my first small scale stealth grow and I have two basic questions. I am working with a 2x2x6 space, lighting will consist of an Apollo 300W purple sun with a couple supplementary led panels and a couple cfl. Because of my space limitations and other considerations I have decided to go with some autos from Nirvana (northern and bubble). My medium options are soil or a simple dwc setup. The two main questions I have are which medium would be best for this environment and how many autos to run (I am thinking 1, but was wondering if 2 is worth trying). Thanks for reading and if you require more info to advise me feel free to ask.

You can easily go with a two bucket DWC or soil, but personally, if just going with auto, I'd stick one plant in a 7 gallon and just go that way, but I'm sure others would probably put 4 in 2 gallon pots. Just make sure you've got your environmental conditions in order before you start, even though your going LED, that's a small space and it's going to get hot and humid in there.

I was also a bit concerned with climate control in that space but I've got 2 input and two output fans (with scrubbers) so I'm hoping I'll be ok on that. My house us typically pretty dry so I'm hoping that mitigates some of the humidity. Thanks!

Sounds like your good to go, have you ran your lights on the timers for a day or two with a digital thermometer that will track hi and low temps? They are like ten bucks, but totally worth it to get a more complete picture of your environment.

my last grow was in a 2x2x7 area. Grew out two fem seeds with ~30 day veg. Still had vertical room to spare when they finished. Just enough horizontal space for two.

I have not tracked the temp over time yet, but it was sitting at 74 after a day or so. Remis, was that a soil or hydro grow?

Honestly I strongly suggest you avoid autoflowers. They are not as potent and have watered down genetics. I am currently growing 2 Green Crack (HSO) plants in a restricted space, through topping I have managed to keep them around 50cm (about the same as autoflower) but due to topping I have 2 main colas and little bushes covered in buds. The moral of the story, top standard plants for height controll and dont jump on the autoflower bandwaggon.

I'm not jumping on any bandwagons. I've done the research and I'm aware of the draw backs.. I made the decision at this point because of time. You can't beat autos for time. That's why I said I was switching to photos once I can.

To be clear, for this grow the genetics (NL and Bubblisious autos from Nirvana) and the space/lights (2x2x6 with purple sun led plus supplimentary) are set in stone. Any advise for future grows is fine and much appreciated, but for this thread I'd like to keep focused on the best way to maximize what I'm working with. Thanks for all the help so far!

So I think I've pretty much settled on soil for this one.. anybody else have thoughts on the number of plants I should try? So far I have had 1 vote for a single plant and 1 vote for 2 plants...
