Today is day 21 of veg for my first DWC grow, my 5th grow overall.
I'm in the process of switching over from a "grow tube" design (like AeroFlo) to DWC. The grow tube worked well but I'm hoping the DWC will allow for greater flexibility moving plants from the veg closet to the flower room - with less stress to the plants. I also think it's better for the roots (but time will really tell).
The plants are 4th generation Chemdog clones that I started from (GreenHouse Seeds) seeds. Today I topped them trying to leave 5-8 main branches. Full disclosure, I struggle with pruning, shaping and training my plants.
I have a 6 bucket DWC veg setup, I'll promote the 4 best plants from the clone closet to flower room. I'll flower 4 plants under 2k watts using the SCROG technique (same as I've been doing for the grow tube).
On this grow I'm testing MBNutes.com nutrients.
