1st plant, problem spider??

So, this is my first grow and literally my first plant. Did nothing beside buy good soil and water her regularly. I'm fairly happy with the learning experience this has been, was not confident from the start that she would yield anything, but now feeling more hopeful. So my question, the spider in the first 2 pics has me concerned. I'm not sure if it's a sign of a bigger issue or a good thing to have. I know this isn't a spider mite, but felt like it might still be an issue. My plant is outdoors and has been since germination. The spider has set up shop in the very top of the plant.
Might as well mention this also since I'm posting; a few of the bottom leaves have a few spots of what looks like WPM, but none of the upper leaves have any signs of this. When I first spotted this I sprayed with a milk/water solution and I have checked very closely and have not seen spider mites or eggs. Should I worry any further about the white spots?
Does she look healthy from the pics?
Any tips or information is greatly appreciated.

looks like a regular spider not spider mites with it being outside nature should take care of her good bug eat bad bugs to keep them in check most of the time just keep her healthy and she will be ok

Very cool to hear that. I actually saw 1 or 2 random ants on the plant this morning, hopefully the spider will deal with them. Thanks again.

the spider might build a web for catching fly or moths but should not be an problem ants on the other hand might be a problem if theres a lot of them thoughs eat leafs like spider mites and harm your plant regular spiders make webs to catch there food not eat your plant

Leave spiders on your plants, they will eat bugs that destroy foliage, etc. Same goes with ladybugs.. they will eat spider mites, aphids, and other tiny insects.

Learn the basics of the insect food chain, as well as a bit about certain flowers/herbs that attract good insects. This is one way to keep your garden free from pests without using insecticide.
