1st Outdoor Grow

Hey all!
As the title states, this is my first outdoor grow. It's also my first grow in general really. In my teen years I never really got past the first few weeks in SOLO cups. I was always getting busted by my parents, forgetting to water, over watering, etc. So I am really excited to begin this grow now that I'm older and a bit more wise. (or so i'd like to think) I ended up choosing the following feminized strains: (15 seeds total)
World of Seeds Diamond Line Delirium
World of Seeds Afghan Kush Ryder Autoflowering
World of Seeds New York 47
World of Seeds Northern Lights x Big Bud
Dinafem Seeds Powerkush
Dinafem Seeds Blue Widow
Dinafem Seeds Fruit Automatic
Dinafem Seeds Critical +

Decided to germinate with the old paper towel method.



Also decided to throw together a record of which seeds I put where. I tend to forget these things very quickly.



I've already chosen my spot as well and dug all the holes. Still have a little finishing up to do, but I've completed most of the dirty work. Decided to go with miracle grow organic blend mixed with the natural soil. After these little guys pop I think I'm gonna throw them in SOLO cups and put them in a homemade greenhouse/growbox until they're large enough to go into the ground.

Don't want to stunt them or anything, so any and all advice is appreciated. More likely than not I'll mess a few things up so I need all the advice I can get. Will keep updating with pics of progress, for now waiting on my beans to pop.

Welcome! Not a bad first post. Nice choice on strains. How's the germination coming along? Any seeds pop?

And since your growing outdoors your guna want to start them baby's off indoors under some CFL's. Edit: just realized you already plan on doing that lol. Pics of the box would be cool!

Just finished getting things started right before posting, I was too excited to wait. Thanks! Over half of them were free, attitude is running some great promo deals ATM.

What else might you suggest? I am pretty much forced outdoors as soon as they pop due to my living situation. I was thinking I would transfer them to the SOLO cups as they popped. I was planning to make a growbox for the cups out of a clear storage bin with holes for drainage & air. I was going to put a large hole in the top cover and replace it with clear cellophane. What do you think?

That could work but it doesn't have to be that fancy. I'm starting five plants off right now. My grow box is a cardboard box about a foot and a half tall with one side open, with four Cfl bulbs hanging from a hole cut in the top. I can post a pic of it tomarow.

sounds good to me! and lol i'm glad because i really like to over-complicate things. i'll see if i can get some pics of the spot up soon, probably get started on my box too after i see what you're working with.

decided to throw them on top of my 360 for some warmth. hopefully that speeds things up a bit. getting started on my mini-greenhouse in a bit.

EDIT: Finished eating lunch and the XBOX decided to get pretty damn hot, couldn't have been over an hour. I am really hoping my seeds aren't fried.

Looks like the heat from the XBOX may have done the rest of them in. Can't quite tell yet. I believe this guy is the fruit automatic.

no man, just wait sometimes it takes a while for them to germ, keep them under 19 hours light. I BELIEVE IN YOU! dont waste dem seeds!

thanks guys! i'll keep you posted. i'm hoping the rest pop too, because i doubt this auto will even yield a zip. fingers crossed.

What ever happened to the grow?

im in the same boat bro !!!! i got some white widow seeds from my last vist to cali . (feminized) . i have a really nice blue dreams that i collected from some bud in a dispensarie , and the others i purchased them from a breeder . one of them is already flowering . i have no idea why !!!! anyway good luck to you . hope everything works out well
