I wont be getting my equip until May-ish, but am def getting itchy to start . I'll be growing in a 2x2x3 tent, a 600w full-spectrum led with veg/flower/veg-flower settings, a Vivosun 4" variable-setting 195cfm inline blower & scrubber, FFOF dirt and autofem seeds from Expert Seeds. $235 including seeds.

SUPER excited! It's been years since I've grown and that was a backyard semi-stealth. I get my setup and hubby gets his D & D collectible figures LOL

Do you have a link to the light you are looking at? Not all LEDs are created equal. Its an important part so lets make sure youve picked a decent one out. That might be a little much for that short of a space.
If you havent seen it yet, there is a whole subsection of micro and cabinet grows that may prove useful for ideas.

3ft is very hard to grow in. I would be tempted to either find a bigger tent or convert and old cupboard or something to give yourself more headroom. Make life a lot easier.

For literally, a dollar more, I can get the 4' instead of the 3' LOL but with topping and LST I'm hoping to keep my babies at 18-20". Definitely 2 plants, maybe 3; I really think 4 would be pushing it for a 2x2, even with tight LST.

We're in a 2 bedroom apartment, but hubby is work-from-home with an inspected office, so I'll be setting up in a corner of the bedroom or walk-in closet.

but don't forget your pot height, the distance you need from light to canopy and your filter/fan plus air circulation.

One of my plants I am harvesting in less than 2 days would have been a perfect pheno of Blue Cookies, too bad I couldn't find anybody with a use for super short plants (I'm in California and its legal to grow here, so not many hiding anymore). I had to put extra pots upside down underneath her, and she still isn't reaching the height of the others. Yield seems fairly decent though.

If you have height issue, and don't mind a little modifications, cut a hole in the top of your tent and have your light flush with the tent ceiling.

Good idea, thanks!

I am, but it does get pretty good reviews. Even with it not actually being 600w, it should still be plenty for 3 plants in a 2x2'. Thoughts?
