I just put my seedling in the soil and pot. as well inside of a coffee can for right now for more reflection as well as a mayo jar with saran wrap on top with holes in it for a humidity dome. i currently have a 26 W CFL light hanging over her. im awaiting my seeds from nirvana still so my buddy gave me a couple he ordered in the meen time. I will be using a bathroom cabinet as my offical indor grow but for now i got this lonely feller sitting in a cardboard box waiting to sprout. I will post pics as soon as she grows. and when i have my full indoor grow room set up. i will be switching to 40 W CFL's but in the meean time i have one 26 W CFL, three 23 W CFLs. i also have a mini fan as well for air and ventilation. I am using miracle grow soil as i used in the past for outdoor growing. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. and like i said PICS WILL BE UP IN LESS THAN A WEEK. SO PLEASE BARE WITH ME!!!!!!!! :D :bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:bongsmilie:hump::hump::hump:

Some people swear by soil and soil less mediums. If you decide to go this route make sure you get some quality soil. I have been using miracle grow potting soil with pretty good results. EDIT: Now that I got a soil ph meter I am seeing that my miricle grow soil was a bad idea. I got some scotts soil (home depot) and its ph is closer to nutral. EDIT again lol. Now I use fox farms "ocean forest". Its too strong for seedlings or clones so I start with fox farms "light warrior".

This wasn't me this was the guy who started the thread how to grow MJ. but I guess it can still work with decent yield. Just trying to help :D

Roots organics soil is the best I've tried, fox farms tends to burn most strains and gnats love that peat moss. Each bag i got had gnat larve.

as has been said miracle grow isn't the best. Some people do use it and have good success but generally it is pretty bad. The problem comes from the time release nutrients, these nutrients are released in capsules in the soil that release nutes when watered. New growers especially tend to overwater there plant which means more nutes are released in a short period of time which can quickly turn into nute burn, which you will have a hard time flushing from the soil as more nutes will just b released. With miracle grow it is very hard to control how much nutes your plant is getting and when. which in turn makes it hard to treat if you run into deficancies or toxicities. With a regular potting soil you can control how much nutrient your feeding your plant, you aren't at the mercy of time release capsules and its very easy to flush the plant if nute levels get to high. Now there are versions of miracle grow that do not have the time release nutes and from my understanding these versions have the best results. As for whats the best white widow that's a real preference thing but I personnaly grow white widow that hasn't been crossed with anything else and enjoy great smoke, it grows short and bushy, responds great to training and is a very resilient plant in general so its great for beginers.
