1st grow WW...comments/suggestions welcome

Got some new pics for you guys. Growth has picked up since I lowered the light and upped the nutes. I think were at about 350 TDS right now. pH drifts are now much slower since I started using good pH down, much more manageable now. I could leave it alone for 2-3 days without any problems which is comforting. The WW has leaves new leaves coming out every which way out of the growth tip, really curious to see how that one turns out. Third node is almost completely in on most of em. The one that stretched the most has started to lag behind the others in growth. The cotyledon on that one sit higher than the top of the tallest one. The stem is still too weak to hold the plant upright which doesnt really concern me considering they all will be growing horizontally in a few weeks.

Weird Widow-

They are starting to bush up quite nicely. Light is 15 inches above the plants now, they seem to like the extra light. I've got some mylar coming in soon. I'm wasting a lot of light right now and its just not gonna work once they start getting bigger. The mutant WW looks like its growing 4 heads out of the growth tip. I counted atleast 6 little leafs coming in at the same time so it seems like that one wont need to be trained or atleast not right away. PPM is still around 300 I'm gonna up the nutes today and see how they like it, probably up to 350 maybe a bit higher. The runt finally has enough stem strength to keep from falling over when I turn the fan on. No longer do I have to prop it up with the hydroton. The whole thing is starting to lose its excitement factor. No longer do I feel like a kid on christmas morning every time I go to check on them. Now its more like something I know I have to do, like a chore if you will. I set aside an hour a day to spend in my grow room. I usually just check nutes and pH and spend the rest of the time staring at them but I realized they grow faster (or so it seems) when you dont look at them every 2 hours. Plus I've come to terms with the fact I won't be smoking this bud until like july. I probably wont even switch to 12/12 for like another 6 weeks or so. Pics up tonight.

Some of the big fan leaves are curling under. I've heard it referred to as "the claw" and thats what it looks like, but not sure as to whats caused it. I also noticed some isolated brown spotting on the mutant's first leaf, and on one leaf on one of the others as well. I will be doing some research on plant sickness and see if I can diagnose the problem and take care of it ASAP. And now for the pics.....

Im growing the same Nirvana WW as well. Cools setup. How old are those?

Well due to a noob mistake, I destroyed 7 WW seeds. These are my remaining 3 as well as 3 mystery bagseed. My friend collects decent seeds he comes across and he sent me a vial of mixed seeds, out of which I picked 3 healthy looking seeds. If you look at the second pic, the left 3 are WW, If you look at the third, the top 3 are WW. These have been in the setup for a bit over 2 weeks weeks, but germed over 3 weeks ago.

Well, if you got it set up right, they should take off soon. Mine didnt really start growin until about day 15. Your using drip is see. Or is it a dwc drip? Sorry i didnt read all that, to much lol. But hopefully they take off soon.

Not really sure what it takes to be considered DWC but the bottom of the net pots are about a half inch abover the water level and I already have huge roots starting to grow down into the water, some are 12 inches deep in the rez.

Sounds like DWC to me, with a drip. 12 inches! Mine are only like 4 or 5 inches right now. Do you have an air pump in there? It sounds like they are focusing more on root growth that actual veg growth, you should ask some questions about that. I think they are searching for oxygen in the water, or nutes. One suggestion, throw about 2 or 3 dual air pumps in there, the plant will love it, even if you neglect them and treat them like shit. hehe They are only 10 bucks at walmart. I have 5. You have enough light for right now, just add another light during flowering.

I flushed the rez today. The brown spotting is starting to spread which is bad news for sure. I let the plain pH adjusted water run for a few hours before adding nutes. I think it was nute lockout cuz my ppm wasnt that high beforehand. I used half of GH recommended nute strength. The chart read 3-2-1 tsp./gal for veg growth, I went with 1.5-1-0.5 and to my surprise the solution was stronger than it was before the flush. Water comes out of the tap at 140 and after adding my nutes it was 500 on the dot, so thats 360 ppm not too overpowering IMO. I hope these brown spots stop spreading because I dont know what else would solve my problem. Took this a few hours ago...

Not true, you should start the journal over because you had no pics in your first page or 2. People want to see PICTURES not read a whole essay.hehe. It kinda seems like you had no pics at all and were just describing the whole thing which was a little funny, had a little giggle there . So just do a new one with pics at the beggining, and im sure it will receive alot more attention.

I went out of town for a few days and when I got back I couldnt believe how much they grew while I was gone. Theyre huge! I started tying down as soon as I got home. Some of the stems got so thick While I was gone I couldnt bend them over in one go. This was on monday and they are starting to branch out everywhere now. I accidentally broke one of the main stems but it didnt snap all the way it just split like a 1/3 of the way thru, so I just propped it up it should be fine. PICS 2MRW. Be excited.

Everythings coming along smoothly just doing a lot of tying, gonna have to start training lower nodes because they are starting to get pretty big. I think I found somebody to buy my 250w off me so maybe I can have a 400w here by the time I switch to flower. I cracked a couple of the stems while I was training. Just like split em a little bit not like their barely hanging on. All I can say is LST is awesome.

really? glue huh, sounds like it would work. I was kinda wondering if I should do anything cuz two of them got gashes in the main stems

looks great!! Ill post some of mine later, i have a growjournal on another forum and dont really post anything here cause no one really replies anything, but i understand, there is so many people here that each post gets drowned out with in a couple of minutes.

you should try marijuana passion. There is less people there, but you can sort of see who is experienced enough to answer your questions by how many times they have been thanked. But this place is good for info if you know who knows there stuff, and there is a ton of posts about probably everything you can think of, but as far as a journals, dont really think its worth it.

I guess I'm gonna start 12/12 sooner than planned, they are growing like crazy and will def be too big if I let them veg much longer. I think I shoulf do some pruning but do I take off the big fan leaves that are blocking light or just take off lower leaves that the light doesnt reach or what.
