1st Grow With CFLs

My DIY mother/clone/maybe veg? cab:

$30 cabinet from walmart
$5 worth of mylar
$2 worth of foil tape
$10 worth of fans
125W cfl bought for $70 with wing

(she would be thicker but I have been trying to learn how to clone)

One downfall is that she cant get much taller. The pot shes in, is too big for this cabinet :(
 
Nice man looking great so far..I will be starting my first CFL grow soon so im gonna keep an eye on yours subd

I decided to do a DIY and made a bubble cloner. Should be much more efficient!

Pistils at last... it's only my first grow but I am pretty sure those are pistils! ;)

agree I switched from cfl to a 400 hps and il never go back' the buds are proper dence and more of them. Saying that though iv seen some very good looking plants done with cfl.
 
realistically how much does it look like i will yeild with this setup? i have 6 42w cfls all close to bud sites

Not much has changed, except the appearance of baby buds on many bud sites.
I took some clones off the mother plant then I moved the mother plant into the flowering tent. The cabinet she was in, was too small because of the size of her pot.

The 2 remaining clones that rooted, since my veg cab has too much heat issues, I transplanted them into a soil/sand mix, I didn't have much soil, and I would have felt bad if I just threw them out *shrug*

Some cheap MG Blooming food, at about 1/2 strength... Income has been slow, otherwise I would have went with some foxfarms nutrients.. I have heard mixed thoughts on MG stuff so I will feed them sparingly and will of course flush at the end.

I appreciate any tips and feedback on this journal - it's my first grow, and if it turns out good, I hope I can give hope to people who want to grow with CFL.

well I didn't get seeds from online I got it from a dispensary

The buds smell like skunk and the plants smell sweet. If I keep the door closed the whole room smells sweet but not like weed. Hopefully my carbon filter works good enough, lol.

OH if you meant the flower food it's Miracle Gro Bloom Booster flower food.. about $5 from walmart's garden section.
 
Sorry forgot to get pics, but I will later tonight. They are lookin' even sexier now.

I stole a bud from a lower branch, I couldn't resist to just try like one sample. I swear, hands off till harvest now! Tasted like miracle grow, but hopefully it won't after flushing at the end.

The good news is that smoking that small bud gave a good mixed high. Super relaxed and happy, awesome!
