Thanks man! Hopefully the dry goes well and then I will cure these babies up. Ill report final weight just before I jar them, then I'll post a post-cure weight. Was gonna cure for a couple weeks but everything I hear and read says at least a month. So hopefully by mid to end June things should be perfect. Peace!

Thank you ourkansaw. Yes sir I did save the trim, but I will take it to my friends house and combine it with his shitload of trim and this Monday we are going to try dry ice. First time either of us has tried this so it should be a "fun" learning experience.

The double dutch is in the jars! Weight before curing is 31.9g. Dried up real nice and compact. Super dense!

The blackjack is still drying, but I am estimating 4-8g more than the double dutch when it's finished.

Ill get some pics of the finished bud up soon.

Next grow will hopefully kick off in a couple weeks. Going with slightly larger buckets and will fill my screens about 10-20% this time. I am going to grow either trainwreck or og kush or one of each. I need to talk to my friend and see what kind of stretch and flower times I am looking at then I will decide.

This grow went pretty good for me since I can honestly say I was pretty much clueless heading into it. Next grow I can tweak a little bit and hope to do even better. Thanks for following along and helping out along the way guys. Stick around for grow #2, Coming soon! Peace

Well, when I weighed the double dutch apparently I forgot one of the paper bags with my biggest tops :confused:

. So my new weight is much more than I anticipated and I ended up at 45g for the double dutch and 41.1 for the blackjack.

I plan on curing for the next month and see how everything turns out. I must say I am pleasantly surprised at my overall yield considering how small my plants were. Hope to do even better next time.

Awesome man, I was really excited for this! They look super dense. I still have a few too many weeks on my foldgers grow. They are in soil, and I'm hoping to pull at least that. Were you running the CFL's with the 250 HPS at the same time?

Also, were you planning on leaving them in the jars for the full month or burping the jars? If so, how often?

Thanks man. I started with one cfl about week 2 and I think it was week 4 I made the 2 cfl DIY bar. I may not be able to run the cfl's on this upcoming grow due to heat. I will run a couple tests in the next couple of days, it's supposed to get over 80 degrees here so I will get an idea of what temps will get to.

I went with burping em, this past week been burping em every 4-8 hrs, and now I am burping every 12-16 hours. Not leaving em uncovered for long, only about a 1/2 hour. They have lost their green smell and are starting to develop a bouquet.

Hope to start grow 2 next week.

Thanks cockbag. I am hoping to pick up some clones tonight! Hoping for 2 trainwrecks or a tw and a og kush. I will know more when I get out to my buddys tonight and can size up the clones. It's gonna be touch and go with the heat for this next grow, tests have not been promising with the cfl's on. But I am gonna give it a try and hope for the best.

Thanks WcT. I did an early sampling of both, and they are damn good. The blackjack is real lemony-diesel tasting, buzz starts behind the eyes and works down to the chest and arms, very relaxing and social. The double tastes like it smells, just like a fresh fruit basket. This bud is very stony and a bit couchlocky. I am renaming this bud the De-Motivator, cuz I dont really feel like doing shit right now, but I gotta fight through it!

Lol I am starting my veggie garden today, just some tomatoes, cukes, green beans and bell peppers. I think I will stay away from the double till tonight.

Well I went out to get my new dates for the next 10-14 weeks and as usual my plans got changed a bit. No OG Kush, the only og cuttings still hadnt put roots out yet and he had only the one trainwreck cutting. So I went with Blueberry as my other to go with the trainwreck. I am not complaining too much though as the blueberry is one of if not my favorite. It is very sativa dom blueberry so it all should work out well, both finish in 9-12 weeks.

A couple changes to my setup. I have bigger hempy buckets this time. Same height but almost 80% more volume. It is hard to see from the pic but I also increased my screen size by about 30%. Not much but in my small box it seems like alot. I am running the cfl's too so far, temps maxed at about 87 degrees so as the temps warm up here I may need to nix the cfl's to control my heat some.

Both clones were larger than I wanted to start with. I have my screens set at 9" and once the roots hit the rez in about a week, my screens will probably be 20-40% full already so I will top and flip them soon. Peace

I'm going to start a little garden outside soon myself! Tomatoes, chiles, peaches and many more. Also thinking about going to a nursery and purchasing some pine and maple trees to help cover the bud plants I'm going to grow.

I'm thinking organic tho man...

The blue cheese is definitely one of my favorites, real distinct in taste and smell. Very earthy which is one of my favorite flavors. You will enjoy it I'm sure.

3 days since I transplanted these to hempy's and I have near 3-4" of new growth. The roots have not yet reached the rez, I am hoping in the next couple of days they will.

I had to go with damn miracle grow perlite and it has some nutes in it. I am just flushing daily with str8 water till the roots hit the rez and the rest of the loose dust washes off the perlite. Soon, by friday hopefully I will be figuring out my feeding and watering schedule.

I also hope to be flipping to 12/12 by friday. Plants are looking good so far, there is a decent chance I will be able to start flowering this weekend. I hope so cuz I am anticipating alot of stretch from these sativa dom ladies.

My last grow, quite by accident I had a 36hr dark period before flowering. I lost power for a day and just decided to go to flower at that point. I read alot of info on this and there is mixed feelings on whether this is beneficial or not. More than likely it doesn't make a difference either way. I will still go with the 36hr dark as I think maybe I showed flowering a little sooner.

I am changing to 12/12 tomorrow night. They are a little stressed but this is mostly due to heat I think, so losing 6 hrs of heat and light will hopefully help. We have had 3 days of high 80's temps and keeping things cool has been a struggle. This week I will try to run a vent to outside the room and see if this helps some. There are alot of things I would do over with my setup that I might take care of after this grow. I definitely want an intake fan, which I think will help alot.

I shut the lighting down at 11 a.m. this morning and they will get 36hrs of darkness till 11 p.m. tomorrow night. So I will officially start the 2nd grow attempt journal tomorrow night at 11. I will just keep going on this journal. Pics in the next few days. Peace

Very exciting yet again! What was your biggest dry yield from one of the foldgers containers? I've got about 2 weeks left to mature before I chop mine.

Your area is making me rethink my big cab in my wardrobe so I can still use it for clothing again, lol.

How far from the ground is the screen and how much higher do you think they will poke through when they are in flower?
