1st grow, plants taking a dump.

well i recently flushed the plant last night so she should be clean. the soil was reading very alkaline with the ph meter, i use tap water that i leave out 24hrs, then pH it after any addition of nutes or just normal watering. temps 77 - humidity ~50, flowering now for only ~3wks

i also just recently installed a 2x4 t5 ho light setup with 2 blues and 2 reds, with 3-55w 2700k flouros, i recently turned one the individual 55w flouros off.

out of the all the posts and threads i have scoured on riu, i think its heat stress and but also some kind of combination of nute burn/lockout which i have been struggling with for a while. the heat stress i think just occurred with the new t5 setup being too close for one day.

basically i just need some helpful advice. thanks in advance, if any more info is needed let me know.

also i have been battling little white flys that love hanging out in my soil, i have been using SNS 209 for controlling them and i think they are finally starting to dwindle but damn i think my plant is hurting from all the stress.

@keep it real, i agree with what your saying, i added epsom salt to a gallon of water but i think i added more than i was suppose and then right around the same time i got my new light and then it started roasting.

i didnt think the t5 was gonna produce that much heat?! it sits right now ~18 inches from the top, should i still move it further away? the other individual spiral flouro's could be alot closer before they started any heat damage to the leaves of another plant i had of the same seed. i think i still need to move the light further away though because there is now some slight canoeing in my other plant right at the top of all the new growth so i think the t5 is having more of effect than i am believing....:wall:

so this is probably a good example of just an overdose of salts and added heat stress to produce results like that i assume?
im letting her get nice and dry before i water again because the temps have dropped outside and its directly affecting my soil/water temps now causing for slower growth i think, if anyone has any suggestions on what to do next to let this plant recuperate im all ears...

thanks
