I also added 1 2700k bulb. I will slowly switch over to flower over the next week or 2. I need to make a bigger container for the plant as well as add a SCROG screen higher up.

So your going to leave the rubber bands off?

Yeah, if I keep it too low then it will be too wide when I start flowering. I'm going to let it grow up and SCROG it again a little shorter than half the area it has to grow.

Well, I added 3 rubber bands back, just to hold back the main nodes I have going. As you can see over 2 days, it rose a bunch. I will be making a new container for her tomorrow, I'll have to wait 24 hours since the silicone will need to cure. The new container will be 1.3 gallons or something.

Yeah, I'm kinda excited to see how she reacts to the new bigger container she will be put in soon.

I honestly don't know how much to expect. lol. My case will allow her to grow about 12" tall so once I get her to about 4"-6" tall I will start to flower. The damaged areas are starting to look a lot better now so now I'm just trying to give her a bigger container to grow in as well as another SCROG screen to hold off the 4"-6" until the screen is pretty full.

i have a cfl pc grow going too (no journal...). 1 ak-48 fem and another bag seed that i think might be northern light. im thinking about using a container like you did, but divide it in half, one side for each plant.
i want to do a scrog but im not sure how to place one up. not enough space for pvc pipes. whats your plan?

I read somewhere that you need about a gallon container for each foot of growth of something. So if the plants are small that should be fine.

It is kind of hard to explain what I am going to do with the screen in the case but I will take pictures once I get it done.

Alright so I added the SCROG screen a couple days ago, it is permanently in there, which I don't think is a problem as long as i do every grow kinda the same.
I also made a bigger container that is about 1.3 gallons for my girl to grow in.

I dont know what day these pictures are. I think day 29 for the first couple.

alright so this branch has been growing 3 sets of branches and nodes. kinda cool. This was the branch I almost completely broke off also.

this node has been growing some deformed leaves. lol

she is looking a lot better now, no more burns or anything =]

she has almost made it to the screen already

Yeah, I am gonna start flowering when I have the screen all situated and partially filled out. I just have to be careful that when the flower stretch happens it doesn't hit any of the fans up top. Any suggestions how to prevent that? put some chicken wire on the fans?

Yea that is chicken wire, I would of rather used plastic instead of metal, but that was all I had at the time.

put some kind of screen over the fans. something with small enough holes so that the leaf wont go through and still have sufficient ventilation.
i use these mats that your suppose to put under a rug to prevent them from sliding. not sure if im making sense but here they are: http://www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Ultra-Non-slip-Rug-Pad-5-x-8/3962803/product.html i just had some lying around the house, so i cleaned it and made the holes a bit bigger, and it works pretty good. im thinking of using it as a scrog screen too.

Alright, so I have a dilemma which is rather amusing. I am 19, I live at home. My parents discovered the grow... They didn't really care. But my dad wants to see what happens when it's all done growing so I am still growing it. Just in the garage instead of my closet, for fire reasons. lol. My mom doesn't really want it though. I am not gonna tell them when it is done because I guess they will just throw the case and product away. I move out this August and don't want this case and product to go to waste. So I am thinking about just saying I sold them both to a friend from school and just let my girlfriend hold onto it until it is done and I can take the case when I move out. How does this plan sound? I know I shouldn't have grown at home, but I have a saltwater reef so I figured the light and noise from it would of kept it safe. I hadn't built the light trap on the fans yet.. so my dad saw some light coming out of my closet and found it.

oh yea, I pruned off a bunch of the fan leaves that weren't getting light a couple days ago, it didn't stress her at all and she is still growing crazy fast in her new bigger container.

your plants look healthy. regarding your plan, well...i personally wouldnt give my plants to a girlfriend. but its all up to you since you know them better than any of us...

Yeah, I've been dating her for a while and she knows what I'm doing. I would also still take care of them though. I really want to start flowering soon, but I'm gonna wait till the screen is mostly full.

if i were you i would start flowering now. youve got a lot of nodes and theyre very tightly spaced. and the plant will double to triple in size when you flower. if you wait till the screen is almost full youll have a very thick canopy and youll end up trimming a &#$^@ load of leaves.

how did they find out about it if u have it in a pc case?

Definitely flower now, i doubt that it will triple in size, but double is definitely possible
