Bakes that sounds like spidermites. Lots of people say neem oil, I know that this works well. I am really cheap though and find that 4 or 5 drops of liquid dish soap in your mister bottle works just as well. When you spray them top of the leaves and the underside let that sit for a couple of hours and then rinse with plain water throughly. The soap just dissolves the little bastards, you may have to do that for a few days to ensure that you have them all. Good Luck.

It won't hurt a thing to mist the soil, the soap kills all insects that are soft shelled or skinned. This means that it will also kill any good bugs that you have, but the spidermites are a top priority so I would soak everything. Just make sure that you do not do this in the sun. Find a nice cool shady spot to do this. The soap and water at like little prisms and will magnify the sun's rays. Glad I could help good luck with the little bastards.

Man I am sorry for the loss......guess you are going to have to spray the area down with neem oil to kill the little bastards. I can't believe that the soap didn't work for. I have never had a problem with them that I couldn't cure with the soap and water, you must have them on a large area around the plants. Sorry again man. this is for the spidermites

I hear you on that.....I really nute burn Mary today when I transplanted it......thank the gods I was close by and caught it with only losing two fan leaves before I got her flushed out good. I don't know what happened never had a problem before. I transplanted 4 plants using the same compost pile and only had a bad reaction on Mary.....really sucks but what can you do?.........since you babies are around lots of other plants try getting some neem oil and spray everything down really well.
