once you have lst'd a week or 2 wait for the side branches to get to the same level as the top of the plant so it is an even canopy. let em do that for 2 weeks then i would flip em into flower since you have height restrictions. i grow in a pc case so i have to lst just bout everytime lol
Sounds good thanks alot! I think i may be lsting wrong lol. I just pull the stem down, Are you supposed to do it at the top of the plant between nodes?

btw the pics are about an hour after i did it.

so just take it off when i get home?

ok so im high and motivated so here ya go pics of my lst job lol. once you have the main cola bent over lower branches will grow straight up. you will have to re-tighten it up a few times and even pull the side branches to the side. these pics should help. this wasmy lowryder pc grow

also ddon't let the fan leaves touch the soil, sould cause some sort of rot in the future. look at how i did mine. tie em to the side on the container they are in and it should work out a lil better for ya. as opposed to the soil

peace

take some close up pics of the bugs. also read in the faq page about disease and pests or check in the forum. stay on top of it. you can get some spray that is safe for plants at any walmart or lowes type of place.

Did you ever solve the temperature problem? In my opinion you have too large of a volume and not enough exhaust fans. I'd recommend using all the fans for exhaust and just using passive intakes. That keeps my grow no hotter than 75 during the day w lights on. Looks good tho good luck!

Dude...Ditch all that crap you are using and get a 250 watt convertible mh/hps...my box is 3x3x4 and if you do it right with a good intake and outake your results will be twice as good...use your cfl's for side lighting... i'm having a hard time figuring out why your temps are so high in the first place?!!? your box should be plenty big enough to handle cfl's(63"wide 20" deep 50" tall??)...if you are using a space like that a 250 watt hid will work fine trust me!!.....and there not expensive..you can pick one up for round $200...and there not as hot as you think..all those cfl's your using causes MORE HEAT trust me i'm an electrician by trade and your killing yourself for nothin..set some of your cfl's on the side for "side lighting and pop that 250 watt in there... it will be the best thing you did..people say i don't have the budget and then they show pictures and they got 400 watts of cfl's going on costing them more in electricity then a 250watt would cost. its all about being efficient..also i went from harvesting just about 2.5 oz with 3 plants(with cfl's)..to over a 1/4 ound with 3(lst..bluecheese and northern lights.. good yielding strains and bc nutes, fuck foxfarm) with the hid...my elect bill only went up about $25(avg.)..Example:
1 250 watt hps=28,500 lumens vs. 10 -42watt cfl's=420 watts and27,000 lumens... those 10 bulbs will put off way more heat than that 1 250 trust me..just vent it properly!!! peace.. i hope i was some help..

After posted yesterday I did some research on bugs/mites, I looked in the box three times after that and was unable to find anything (I looked under the leaves, on top, on the stem between nodes) one leaf did have a small hole that i assume would be from a bug/mite. Hopefully i can figure it out today. My box is made of stainless steal, and is in a craw space that only has 2-2.5 feet above the box I think that may have to do with the heat? My heat goes up to 90 some times (right by the lights by the plants) but normally stays around 85, around 70 when lights are off. I know i need to get a better exhaust set up I have two 80mm hole son top that i can mount fans two. I would like a/c powered fans for easy plug and play (dont wanna hack up another wall wort) any recommendations? The heat is the major reason i use the cfls I thought it would be better Also because of the height i didn't think that the plants would outgrow the cfls. Yesterday I ordered another fan maybe that will help. Also i built a carbon filter (gutted an old air purifier and put active carbon in the filter with two carbon prefilters) I will test that today. Hopefully I will be able to figure out this bug problem. pictures later today

plants are looking good. man i was just thinking bout this. your plants are kind of in an oven. with those metal walls lol. how often are you having to water? can you take some pics of under the leaves? might be able to see some mites if that is what you have. but like that other dude said, use neem oil.

peace buddy
