checked on her this morning temps are low 70s. rockwool still seems pretty wet and i havent watered in 2 days [31grams weight] so intook her out of the bucket and placed the cube on top of the netlid only because she looks anlittle droopy. ill check on her around 2pm today see if it dried out a little bit. root looked white except a tinge of brown in the middle.. also i moved the light down to 29 inches it was about 33

after drowning her a little she recovered and everything seems ok
root is poking out of the bottom of the netpot. i put a lid to get rid of light going to res.not sure how long before she roots out the net pot. i have the water touxhing the bottom of the netpot so its sbout inches away from roots through growstones
res, control bucket and dwc bucket are 5.7ph with an ec of 0.7. (0.4 calmag 0.3 maxigrow)

My new net pot came in today with the air channel I lowered the water down to 3 gallons which put about an 8th to a quarter of an inch below the mat put the rock wool on the channel after I cut a slightly larger hole surrounded it with rock and covered it with mirror tape looks pretty good the test rock will I had was getting very very very lightly touched by bubbles not enough to even so get after 2 hours so I wanted her were day 6 I can see 2 to 3 roots poking out the bottom hopefully she will start to take off

[may extend ballast out of tent with longer wire. hoping by sunday she starts taking off

do u guys think i should keep pushing it doesnt look any bigger to me rootwise or plant wise. or should i scrap clean and restart.
i got new airstones and valves. ph started at 5.6 at 7am yesterday. raised to 6.5 tonight so i reset to 5.6ph. ec is holding at 1.0. i have wettable mykos coming tonight from extreme gardens i was gonna throw 2 tsp in and see if it helped roots. ineed suggestions

IMO your EC is a bit high for this stage, your PH is a little low, I have found 5.8 - 6.1 to work best in DWC but I think your biggest problem is your air pump if my calculations are correct it's only about 4l per minute? I'm from the UK so not sure about gallons lol.
Also that tin foil will cause hotspots so I would remove it.

no my airpump is 750gph which is about 12 gallons per minute which would be around 48lpm
it is an auto and has white hairs i stunted her for 2 weeks being an ass so thats why im not sure.
i let my ph swing from 5.65 to 6.2

Huh it sounds like you have everything in hand set up wise but your roots should be a lot bigger, man normally I wouldn't advise to pull a plant but your not going to get anything off that really if it's starting to flower already.

If you do restart though I would go with photoperiod instead of autoflowers, yeah it takes a few weeks more but autos can be fiddly, you can get bad genetics, easy to stunt and considering you are doing 1 plant in a 2x2 you will have a lot more control in terms of training it into the space and flipping when your ready.
yeah im good eith everything what screwanke everytime is the seedling sprout phase. i can get then to germ i movr them to rockwool but inalways seem to over or underwater before the roots get intk the rez....once im in the rez im golden i leave july 1st tonthe 4th ill restart then i have sll autos except 1 zkittles thats a photo so maybe ill try that

I just keep it simple, soak rockwool cube in root stim and PH water, gently shake off excess water, put the seed in the hole, cover hole with a corner of cube, put cube in a tupaware box with the lid on, wrap a towel around tupaware box and place on router, normally sprouted within 3 days max, then when the taproot has pierced the bottom of the cube its straight into my system, IMO the quicker the taproot gets into the res the better especially with autos as time is against you.

This is how I set up my net pots so there is a direct route into the res, I cut a hole in the main net pot and then get a smaller cloning pot and turn it upside down, then place the cube on top, this way roots are in the res within 3 days of sprouting.
so u keep the rockwool cube in the tupperwear when it sprouts until the root pokes out? inwaitedbuntil it sprouted and then put itninto these then i had issues determing whether it was wet or notm what root stim do u use
i bought a rhizocore netpot same concept

Yeah I leave it in the tupaware box but with the lid off and under the lights in the tent, I mean you could just put it straight into the system but I like to see where the taproot comes out as not always in the centre of the cube as I like to position it so I know it's going straight to the res.

Yeah that's the problem with Autos, you never know if your gonna get a beast or a runt and they are very sensitive which is why I suggested doing photos if only doing 1 plant
