Just one plant left and it's hermie so what do you do? It's my first grow so I decided to pick off all the pollen sacks I could see each morning and just let her/him/it grow. She is in a 5 gallon bucket with a soil perlite mix. The grow space is about 3x6x8 and insulated on all sides. The insulation and high heat may have caused the herm or it being bagseed. Temps did reach around 92-93 but I leave the door off now and it doesn't pass 80 anymore. Using cfls 6 45 w and 3 23 w. Keeping them as close as possible and a small fan blowing on her.
This being my first grow I hate to hurt my baby even if it is a he/she. I am wondering if it will harm the plant or slow it if I trim off some of the lower branches at this point since they are not getting much light and the flowers are small and the younger branches seem to have more pollen sacks.
Also I've reading thread after thread and I just want to join in and show off what I've got. Any input would be great.

I also think I have one of the stealthiest grow rooms!!! But those pics will be on my next post.

Trim off those lower buds! There just wasting nutrients. Cut them so that your big buds get those nutes and watch them swell. Also here's a tip be4 you remove the pollen sacks spray them with water(water kills the pollen) be4 removing them with tweezers Hope I helped

thanks for the tip I will spray them before plucking. Any idea how long it will take for a sac to burst. I haven't had one yet but I need to leave town for like a week.

i am trying to pollenate and it takes some time for the sacs to burst it has been over a week now and they are still comming in. I wish the buds grew as fast as the sacs come in. I could harvest a tree in like 1 month. lol but I have to wait.

Cool hopefully if i clean all the sacs i can find off I should be home before they re grow and pop! I plan on plucking off the sacs watering the crap out of it and turning the timer down to 10 on 14 off and heading for the mountains for some snowboarding. Hopefully come home to some nice full buds!!

Make sure to only spray the pollen sacs. You want to avoid getting the buds wet as much as possible. They can mold real easy.

how early is there pollen in the sac? i have popped a bunch of them and haven't seen anything yellow. so i only assume they have to develop further.
