1st Grow - Client / Server model, perpetual, Top44 & Citral

Thanks. Not sure about 2 weeks, but by my July vaca.. it's possible.

Great advice on the cling wrap. I'm totally doing that this coming week on my Disney adventure. Thank GOD we're driving, so I can tote something with me! I'm dying to get some pics up here to show you guys. It's gone from pathetic to jungle in a very short time. Even my new seedlings are impressive now.

Just put some fork holes in it like a microwave dinner to stop any mold forming.

The site became inaccessible last night just after I posted that. I should be able to get all but the nubile bud porn up in a bit.

So.. big night last night. I'm pissed that I couldn't get on the site after my heralding earlier. My pics are already uploaded, as I'm typing this, though, so you should enjoy.

I took my first clone last night. The Citral #1 lost its head and cried all over itself (literally.. kinda sad!), but the cut was clean and I'm feeling confident about it. I still need a plastic bag over that clone, though. I might also clip its wings, too, as I read it shouldn't be trying to support big vegetation while it's trying to root.

I also got a wild hair up my ass for wielding the blade and decided to clear a path for Beatrice's newer shoots on her side. I'm really glad I did, too. By this morning (lights overnight in my gear), she had twisted her body to expose a site that had been underneath and there was a shitload of new growth from those exposed sites. There are more hairs than there were last night, too. I have 3-4 nodes with hairs out of 8-9 total. I need a spurt of growth from her somehow, as I'm contemplating cloning instead of re-veg. We'll have to wait and see on that one.

Also, I noticed my flower case smelled a little.. familiar.. last night. I couldn't place it. The Top44s have a mild vegetable smell to them. The Citral seedling smells VAGUELY lemony. Then, I picked up Bag1. I took a close whiff of it and smelled pungent grapefruit and gasoline. It's definitely Diesel, but I think it's NYC Diesel, due to the grapefruit smell. Not for nothing, but I've blazed pounds and pounds of both SD and NYCD over the past 7 years or so and several years ago, moved a bit. I know I've gotten the VERY occassional seed from both, too. Diesels are some of the most common strains in my region and have been for YEARS. Those and Hindu Kush are the most common here, by far. More so, even, than brickweed schwag.

Anyways, I digress. Bud porn up tonight, for certain. Without further adieu..

Gonna do a grow journal? There are a bunch of us on here that have really decent grows going right now. Yes, it's mostly leaves inside metal, but hey.. that's fun, right?

I love that the plants just seem to stay so small. It's like they just adapt to their surroundings or something. My plants seem happy, in general. They're just tiny.

I read a book way back called the great book of hashish by lawrence cherniak I think. It's an unbelievable read and the pics will you have you creaming yourself for months He said the best smoke he ever had (and he had some fcuking great smokes) was something I think they did in Nepal. At harvest they chopped off the very top of the main stems and waited for a little golden blob of juice to come out like the tears in your pics. They collected them all and even then it was only a tiny amount, but apparently it's the ultimate high. I wonder if I can get 16 blobs worth out of Pandora

Regarding my avatar, I was all wasted and forgot to take before pics, since I was so focused on the task at hand. You should have seen the Citral. That top goes all the way to the bottom of that glass. It was standing so tall.. nearing the lights. The Top44 was bushier, too. It's incredible how pathetic the Citral looks now. But now, it'll have 2 top colas! I'm hoping the clone thing works well, because I'd like 2 more before my big vaca. I'm kind of thinking this first one will die because I'm a pessimist. More practice for me!

After seeing how close you got to reviving the smelly nug I don't doubt for a second that you'll do ok with the clones.

I just wanted to put an update out there to show 2 days growth on Beatrice since I clipped her to expose the lower sites. I felt it was valuable information.. moreso than my usual nonsensical drivel!

Not sure if you can see it, but even the bottom rear bud site has twisted to expose itself more. It's the most covered part of the plant, but I'm thinking I can save it.

Other stuff.. the clone's coming along. It's still wilty, but the leaves look generally healthy. I'm gonna clip its leaves and bag it today. Citral #1 is looking tiny as hell, now, but it's got great new growth. The suspected Diesel smelled like MAD this morning. GRAPEFRUIT!!! If that's Sour, I'll be in for a real vertical challenge, due to Sativa genetics. Even if it's NYCD, that's still 60% Sativa, so I could be boned. I guess only time will tell. Citral #2 and Top44 #2 are still just chugging along, getting big. All the 12/12 plants got new dirt on top this am to raise levels.

Hey, floridasucks! I'm gonna be in your homestate next week, but all about the family adventures, so there's no way to get out an party. And, no.. the bud failed. I saw that The Devil Wears Prada is playing Warped this year and thought of you, though.

Well, the time has come. I've survived cops for dinner.. now, I gotta survive the house sitters. I'm feeling sick as hell tonight, so I think I'm just soaking the FUCK outta these poor plants and covering them with some plastic. I'm really gonna miss em.
