Hey thanks zombie. Been researching on here and it could be a number of different things. I'll be updating again on friday so hopefully the yellowing will go away. If not anyone else have advice on yellow veins??

They don't look too bad to me...something to just keep an eye on at this point, imo.

Are you using Cal-Mag in addition to your ff nutes?

Its nothing serious just something I spotted. Wondering if anyone could givea second diagnostic if anything was wrong. I haven't been using the Cal-Mag but i do have it. Just Big bloom and Tiger bloom for now. Here in a week or so I was thinking of adding beastie bloomz to the regiment and then last 3 weeks before flush I was thinking Cha ching. Any suggestions?

Ahhh...OK, I just checked out the fox farm ingredients on their site. Looks like the Tiger Bloom contains Ca, Mg and Iron additives, so you probly shouldn't need to add any Cal-Mag.

Thanks for that Xbeche! That's a relief knowing I don't have to add more. Have you ever heard good things about bud candy? My friend that is growing swears upon it but I haven't heard too much on it. You or anyone else have personal experience?

Sorry, BG, can't help ya out there, I never used ff nutes. I'll be sure to check out ur results if/when u try it...from what I've read just now, the combination of the ff nutes with BC sounds reasonable to me.

Well that's not good! ha ha what nutes have you been using? Humboldt? I get people mixed up all the time. I read the bud candy and just as you, thought it was reasonable. Thanks again X

I've been using Pureblend pro + liquid karma + cal mag + molasses. Seems to work fine, haven't had any issues yet. Occasionally I'll add some roots organic hp2 (hi P bat guano) to their feed during flowering. I'd consider trying some other additives during flowering once I use up my hp2...but that could take a while, since I use so little of it each grow.

Have you ever tried without molasses? I am just curious to see a comparison with molasses and without. I've been open to so many different additives as I've seen good results from many. It just seems more of a opinionated thing rather then actual evidence. Almost like what's better a beemer or a mercedes? lol

Sure, I've grown without molasses, but I've never done a direct comparison (same strain, same conditions), so I can't say exactly how much of an effect it has. I use it mainly for adding trace minerals for the plants, and sugars to feed the microbes in the soil mix. Been using it for two years now, and I've had no problems, so I'll stick with it, since it's pretty inexpensive. There's a fair amount of documentation around the interweb regarding the benefits of using molasses for soil gardening.

When I mix my particular combination of nute solutions + molasses, it always ends up smelling exactly like sweetened iced tea (although adding the bat guano kinda funks it up a little).

I think I might have to do some type of comparison next grow. I know I am a noobie but I have a bagseed I'm willing to experiment with. Might as well make it my test dummy right?? lol Thanks again xebeche. I'll start reading more about molasses tonight. I swear everyday I learn something new. Feel like I'm in middle school reading a book I can't put down :) Anyways I'll be updating on friday so stay tuned. Any news on when you will be starting your next one?

I also used molasses my last grow, but no scientific comparison. But I'm for it because it has trace nutrients and cal/mag that helps the plant in the last week or two when you stop feeding.

It will have to be something I take into consideration next go around. I just have to start reading a little more about it so I personally feel comfortable about it. Once I got that knowledge under my belt, Molasses will be something I start adding to my nute regiment.

I got my package today! :weed: Kalashnikova, Lemon skunk, kings kush, AMS, super sour og, super bud, exodus cheese, jack the ripper and jilly bean. :) Can't wait to start these next go around. After looking at them I have been thinking about making most of them mothers and cutting clones off of them. Going to be trying a perpetual of 4 plants every 2 months. I figure I want to this because if one comes out super dank I am going to be disappointed that I can't grow that same pheno. Any ideas on this??

edit: I just put some home made c02 in my cab. Going to see how that goes. Will be posting pics on Friday so stay tuned!

Grow em till they show sex, then put them back to 24 hour ( or 18/6 ) till shes big enough to handle you taking off some limbs. I used to fim the hell outta what I was going to use as the mother for my dude, then cut off some shoots, dip in a rooting horomone, and in the 16oz Solo party cup full of soil. Then under the vegging lights.

Ah, pick and mix. Yeah, those look cool. Some strains I want that don't apply for that though. It's a catch-22, lol. Wish it included every seed on the site. I would go crazy!

Yeah I noticed that too. But if you get in contact with the actually seed banks (green house, subcool, etc.) they will actually notify you when they put them in the pick n mix and or are just offering a special. But definately can be a catch-22 :)
