Ok well just a quick update for today... I think my fungus gnat problem has pretty much been solved. Thanks for all your help! Haven't seen nearly as many dead gnats, just the occasional moth or two (these are safe, right?) I watered twice with about 1/2 tsp H2O2 mixed into a bottle of water. Still using superthrive, not really sure how much it's actually working but the plants are looking green and healthy. Any day now I'm sure the third set of leafs will become visible.

Glad to hear the the peroxide helped with your gnat problem as well. I also hear it helps deliver oxygen to the roots so I add a little in every other water.

Its just what I read here someone wrote 30% peroxide 70% water. I'm only doing it to one of my 4 plants and so far its growing just like its (hopefully) sisters. The only difference I see is it has a thicker stem but I can't really say thats from the peroxide. I only did it for about 5 waterings and I use less that 30% I use more like 10%.

yeah i was skeptical at first so I decided to experiment with one plant instead of adding it to all 4 and watching them die. I know it kills bacteria maybe thats helping it somewhere.

this is what I found regarding hydrogen peroxide, And have been using it ever since. I use 20Ml per gallon but 30ml (2 tablespoons) is ok too. With or without nutes doesnt matter

Thanks for that informative post. So I wonder how often you can use it? Every couple waterings I'm guessing or a little bit everytime? Also I noticed about two little spider mites today. Checked all the plants and can't see any on the leafs, just 1 dead one near the fan and another crawling on one of the pots. Since these can take out a few 10 day old seedlings pretty quick I mixed 3/4 water, 1/4 vinegar and some orange anti bacterial soap (found this method searching through the forums). I LIGHTLY sprayed the top and bottom of the leafs, the soil, and a little bit of the area around the pots. Tomorrow morning I'll wash it off again by spraying with some water. The plants still look good though and the third set of leafs are coming in nicely. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to control spidermites so they don't come back later on?
