First attempt any and all feedback is appreciated. Not sure how they should look at this point. Plants were germinated 4 days, probably too long i know and the pics are at 8 days in the ground. Have the fan running on them to help strengthen them up and a ghetto rigged 75 watt flourescent plant light and a 60 watt regular bulb and a 150 watt flourescent bulb. oh and dont mind the small sprouts on the bottom right those are rosemary and sweet basil lol
Im no pro by any means, actually just started my first grow 4 days ago, but I do have some advice.
First off, and anyone correct me if Im wrong, but those plants look to be a bit stretched. With florescent bulbs you need them as close as you can get them without burning the plants or they will stretch toward the light. The regular bulb you are using probably isnt doing much, and it will scorch the plants if you get it too close, so I would remove it. You could buy a 26w Spiral CFL bulb at walmart for less than $8 and it would be a GREAT replacement.
My other suggestion is with all the clutter in the closet. I would DEFINATELY put a board or something up to prevent anything from falling on those lights. Paint a scrap piece of wood white and it would add a lot of reflective light as well as keep your stuff from falling on the plants and catching your house on fire.
Other than that the plants look nice n healthy, lower those lights and I bet you would see some improvement, and get rid of that regular bulb if you do lower them because its much hotter that the flourescent ones.
