I am truely sorry I can't meet everyone I was planning on seeing and I was dumb enough to place an event of this much importance in someone else's hands :( I don't have the option or the resources now to rent a car and i just have to suck it up and wait to meet you guys and meet up with you ngg sorry !!!!!!

i was lookin for that ride lol tws pm'd me but i dont think im exactly on his flight path...i have a truck just ...not wanting to drive especially not alone lol

Stoners... :) My beans are done (the kind you eat, not the kind you plant), although beans in the presence of tri tip sounds pretty pathetic. I don't think I can stay the night so I'll be arriving as early as possible just in case I need a nap before departing. How early is too early?

Effffffffff Kona! That hella sucks. I was so looking forward to meeting you. It is a hard lesson to learn, but a valuable one. You are the only one you can really depend upon.

I made 10 lbs of potato salad, teriyaki sauce, and veg chili yesterday. Making the regular chili and coleslaw today. Come on FDD, you gotta make it.

Hey girl it's all good!!!! I will just need some time to recoup from movig and I will rent a car and come see you and ngg and Maybe a few others hahahaha!!!!! Seems I always have to learn lessons the hard way I really was looking forward to this BBQ!!!!

Common FDD, It's not the middle of winter yet, still fall, there's going to be a big ass bon fire to keep warm by, and there's going to be a trailer and camper to stay in. You can suck it up for one night, worst case just sleep a bit in the cab of your truck until the morning or until your okay to drive. If it was pouring down rain, or even the threat of rain, I could understand, but for this time of year you can't get better weather!
Your choice, but it sounds to me that you already made up your mind.

The next "full solar eclipse" (I'm 47 years old and never seen a full solar eclipse) in North America will be a Sunday, May 20th 2012. One of the prime viewing areas will be extreme northern California, Humboldt county according to the map. We should plan something then, in the Humboldt county area.
I'm going to view this solar eclipse, lets all do it together, I hear it's a hell of a show!

Just got back from the site. Sweeeet evening on the lake. Total calm water.. a few cows roaming camp and some geese. DJJ, Hodge, Noguts, MediMJ, Wheezer and a few others... shared some meds then had to leave n pick up kids. Tomorrow is going to be great.

just got back to the house from the lake.....it's looking good for a great day tomorrow! FDD stop making excuses and get your old ass over there tomorrow! your gonna miss a fun time. I brought the grill for ya, don't make me haul it out there for nothin'!

Ohhh that sounds wicked cool! Never seen a total either and it's on my Bucket List.
I am deeply bummed I can't show tomorrow. But i have a chest cold since Monday, and to bring it with me would be
1) dumb because I'm certain to overwork myself, and
2) I don't want to give the gift that keeps on giving!!

It remindes me of my youngest and the way he was in the morning. Actualy he's still that way.
