I just ordered the Stealth Hydro 6 pack and I got a 250 w. mh/hps light combo off ebay. I hope it will make a big difference in the yield. On the Fox Farm feeding schedule, week 9 using Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom, and Grow Big.
I am thinking about pickup at that 8 gallon stealth kit for my next grow... I have a number of plants in veg that I will take clones from then ditch the males and keep the rest as mothers.
how much did you grab that for...I just ordered the Stealth Hydro 6 pack and I got a 250 w. mh/hps light combo off ebay. I hope it will make a big difference in the yield.
I got the 6 pack set up for $135 dlvd & the 250- W HID/HPS for $203 dlvd. I posted pix of the hardware on my thread yesterday. I have ben reading Rosemans Stealth Hydro thread for 2 days now. There are over 300 pages so it's gonna take a while.how much did you grab that for...
im jeolous!
18 gallons is a whole lotta water and lots of work to flush, etc. Also, you'll spend lots of $$ in nutes, etc. The 8 gal from SH you only fill to six gal. That's enuff for me.Well, I actually think I might build the set instead... Walmart has 18 gallon tupperwares for $2.50 right now! Next grow it will be custom... I am happy so far with my 150HPS from e-conolight and I only have 1 plant which looks like it will yeild me a lot.
I' pretty much brain dead so I just ordered a kit. From what I've read you can DIY much cheaper and pretty quickly at that. Check out the stealth hydro .com site and you can see what it looks like if your interested. You can take a look at all the parts and get them yourself.Ok, cool. Good point. I will get a smaller one then and get parts to build it for my next grow!
Yeah, I am. I hear I'll need to add another air pump and a couple 12" long air stones as well. Man, I guess theres no such thing as a complete system in a box that does/has it all!Nah, you're paying for convenience. =) I am sure someone on here has a parts list for the DIY types. I don't know though... It seems to me you could save $100 (just guessing) if you built the thing yourself...
i need to know what type of hps kit did you get and did it come with a ballast? can you please send me a link i got money to spend on a kit.i got the aerogrow set upalready i need with cfl's just started veg. please send me a link of some sort i must know!
I got that one to but I just bought a 250 halide/hps conversion kit from them (HTG) for $200 including shipping. It's the same size but more lumens. It's over 10000 more lumens and about the same heat level as the 150 hps I was using...AND I can put the HID bulb in it for vegging. The 150 hps I bought in Dec just wasn't making tight buds.this is the one that i got

I just wish I'd have gotten the 250 w hid/hps combo first. I wasted time & money & yield by waiting. You can veg & flower in the same unit just by simply replacing the bulb...If heat & your electric bill is not a problem, go with the highest wattage you can get, like a 400+ combo.Im glad you mentioned that because, I am considering buying the 250W HPS/MH conversion setup ....

So that i can have a total of 400Watts in my closet.... this 150W is working excelent for my vegging but there will come the time that i must upgrade for my flowering.... im debating between another 150 or this 250...
Heat is totally not an issue with the 150W... Do you have any pictures of this 250W in action?
