1m x 1m x 2m Grow tent.. HELP please

Hi everyone, im brand new to this and looking to grow 2 autoflowers (Gorilla Cookies & Gelato) at the moment just to get started off. Ive got the tent (size mentioned in title) 600w HPS dual spectrum and 600w Super HPS bulbs, 300w deep blue Omega CFL, Omega Euro reflector and 600w magnetic ballast. Now my main question would be what ventilation system do i need for this size tent to keep Temp and Humidity levels at bay?

I recommend the 6” AC Infinity T6 in-line fan and filter. It has a smart sensor to adjust speed at variable rates as needed compared to traditional fans that are only on/off.

First off AC infinity filter=garbage, I tried 2. Any time I've enclosed a hps I always go with air cooled hood. I also have 2 t-6 and I love them for what they are,but they appear to be plastic throwaway replace every couple year fans. I'd think "pulling" the hot air from a cooled hood would melt these fans.

Suppose its only an extra £70 odd or so, £330 for the 8 inch setup with the mountain air filter sound about right mate?

No comment as to the ac infinity fan as I don't own one.
But the hot air from an air cooled hood isn't hot enough to melt anything.
I used to measure my duct temp when I ran 3 cool tubes in a row. It was about 98f after all the lights.
Besides that you should pull though the filter and push through the lights , so you have positive pressure meaning any leaks is expelled into the grow space as opposed to sucking through where leaks means smelly unfiltered air Is draw into the light and not cleaned.

Personally I'd swap the dual spec for a MH bulb.

Your fan requirement depends on your ambient temp, getting the impression your in UK so provided your venting out the house properly a 6" would take care of it most of the year, however you need to plan for worst case and an 8" would be better.
Also quieter to run it low speed.

To be quite honest im only venting out of the tent, i live in a downstairs flat which leads onto a main street (tent in bedroom which is fairly cool) venting outside would possibly cause me an issue lol posted in here as i wouldnt know where to start haha

Well you'll just have to see what happens.

The rooms going to get warm.
Air usually warms up more each pass through the tent.
It's also going to get higher in humidity.
The higher the humidity goes the less your filters going to be effective, that little bit of smells going to mount up.

Do you not have an old chimney you can vent up?

In that situation your relying on luck rather than s proper set up.

No chimney Im going to try find a way to vent it out of the property, in the case of the high humidity could i not place a dehumidifier in the tent? The Case of my actual house smelling of it im not fussed about, window in the bedroom is also on a latch which is creating (some) cold air reducing the levels of dampness i think, not sure if that helps

Yeah mate that set up is good as gold, there are better fans than the ac infinity, but the whole comparability scheme they’ve got going on is first class, which will make it really easy to upgrade bits and integrate them. And with the mountain air you’ve got some of the best carbon filtration around, I’ve personally never had a better filter, and I’ve had plenty.

if ur in the U.K. then ledgrowshop is good for ac but I don’t think they stock the mountain air, shop around and buy separate if needed to get the best deal

Ive just realised (if its possible) theres a extractor/exhaust fan thingy majig in my bathroom lol could i run ducting through the house and vent through that?

Yeah if you can make it work layout wise.

If your confident turn off you're electric , disconnect the fan and use the hole .

If I was in your situation I'd be tempted to double filter to be sure of no smell.
Use a standard quality filter and then an inline filter . But I'm prone to having piece of mind and may be over the top on precautions.
