Umm no, no it doesn't. I never said your version wasn't the original. I simply stated these phrases are logically interchangeable "most" of the time. The link was just for reference and showed some examples that are interchangeable and so for all intensive purposes the guy you called "wrong" for his grammar, was not. ;) sieg heil!

It's been many years ago, but the first grow book I ever read about growing weed was by Ed Rosenthal. On the preface page, before the first sentence of the first paragraph of the first page he wrote [ more or less]: 'Growing marijuana is illegal most everywhere in the world. Should you grow, keep in mind that current spouses, friends, and relationship partners often become angry ex-spouses, friends, and relationship partners with axes to grind. Show NO ONE your illegal enterprise.'

Laws are relaxed in many places now, but it's still a mantra to memorize in many places. I hope the repercussions are light, friend.:peace:
 
Anecdotal experiences: Buddy just let me know a couple of days ago that our mutual friend in Oregon offered his admittedly well-selected cut of Jack for $500 (for a tray of rooted clones, not per clone). I've been offered the original '96 Indiana Bubblegum for $1200 for a tray in Asheville. And about 8 years ago, my bro-in-law was offered an ECSD mom for several thousand dollars in Raleigh. I can say for certain that these people do exist.
 
With a k you could get some clones seeds lil upgrade on equipment and nutes thatll last gotta think long term
 
Euphoria went for a grand a bean a few years back. A few years later you could find clones for10 bux a pop.
I can't see why anyone would pay OR charge that much when todays top breeders sell for $5 a bean or less.
 
Personally I would could never see myself paying $1000 for a cut. Someone growing to sell would see it as an investment. For a dispensary it could be a big money maker especially if no one else has the cut.

Ha-ha you had better reread the link you provided. For all intents and purposes it clearly states that your version is a common misconception often used in place of the correct term. Tho i guess if enough people consistently use the wrong phrase eventually the change will become permanent lol. And since i'm now in full on grammar mode you misspelled "Seig Heil". Please know i mean no disrespect but my 8th grade english teacher would come back to haunt me if i didnt at least try to make my point. Sorry for derailing the convo. Shutting up now lol

for the second time, I NEVER SAID THAT WASN'T THE CORRECT ORIGINAL PHRASE I simply said both will have the same meaning and make sense most of the time. thus they are interchangeable. You believe a phrase is grammatically correct or incorrect based on origin it would seem, and that isn't what grammar is.

I can see he value in these clone for sure. much like the bubblegumm The PK is a cut from 99. as far as I know it was picked from 200 plants grown from seed. That effort alone is worth alot not to mention keeping one strain going for 16+ years.

I'm sure I'll talk myself into it at some point

Have you smoked it before, or will you have a chance to smoke it before buying the clone? That's the only way I'd lay out that sorta cash for one clone.

Having said that, if its worth it to you, then rock on. I personally haven't come across a strain that blew my doors off to that degree, but that's not saying there isn't something worthy out there...
