1Badmasonmans 3rd grow 1st journal BC seeds The Purps.

Not much excitement over here. The plants are starting to dig in since the transplant. Still got along way to go though. I think im goanna top all 3 and root the tops, Then once rooted i will force flower them. By the time they show the shlong or gash the original 3 will be monsters and prime to take multiple cuttings from. Now i just hope theres a good fe in there. Would be a real kick in the seeds if they all turn out to be dudes.

On a good note ive dealt with this particular strain already on grow 2 and they all showed preflowers at wk4 veg. The mothers i kept under 24/7 light were still poppin hairs through there whole life span. Or until i got rid of them that is.

Finally found the rite size net pots. Well these aint actually nets pots but thats what there goanna be by god.


Perfect fit. Pricey though. $5.00 a piece. I could order some cheaper i guess but fuck it. By the time i pay s/h same price really.

The younglings are looking kooshty son. Difficult decision on what to do. But you are getting seeds as well right? You gonna have enough things to mess around with soon me thinks, hehe.

You could still flower them out and take cuttings after they start flowering (again, from those bottom branches that flower a bit later and that just end up being pansy!)

Hey GG whats up?.

Im using the fox farms line for now just because i got them. But once i get settled in to the Ebb/Dwc im gonna try Dutch Masters Gold lineup. Looks real simple compared to some nutes out there, and ive heard great things about them. Im still fealing my way out in this type of system. I fugure i best go with something simple on round 1.

Those 'net pots' you ended up with are the exact ones I used for my CJ grow. They served me well for sure. I'm sure they will give you awesome results as well.

And I like watching them grow, so at least one of us is entertained.

That may just be what I needed to here. Yes been toiling with it, Im just anxious to get it going. But hells yeah, I think i will flip em, but not before topping. I did the UB topping method on g2 and the mothers wher just full of good cuttings due to making 4 new mains growing tips. A bush has more choice cuttings than a plant that hasn't been fimmed or topped. Im just really trying to get me a milf lol. This bud was some of the best ive had and i get some fairly good shit. The high is really up lifting energetic. I think its got mostly sativa traits. But i like tat type of smoke in the morn.

And yes the seeds ar in transit. keepin my fings crossed. Mr clean face got some mail from 1 spot so im looking forward. I guess ill be scholar by the end of my 1st harvest on the journal lol. Found me calling....

Well folks yesterday i picked up this heavy duty tote while I was out diy hunting.



At first I was going to try and use it as a controller bucket upgrade from the 5 gal. But I decided to use it to build myself a brand new cloner. My old one is just a flimsy sterilite tote spay painted black. When its full of water it bows out like a mother fucker. Hence the reason for the new tuff cloner. I also made some upgrades to the airstone setup as well.



See how thick them walls are. Well there not as thick as the tip top there but there pretty thick. As you can see I made a pvc frame which will hold my airstones. 1 in each T. The pvc tubing keeps the stones from floating around in the tank. Kinda acts as an anchor, and works well.

Time for a BIG puff of the cheese.

Ahh much better.



Heres the frame with the air stones all plumbed in, sitting on the new work bench i built yesterday in the room. This is kinda my cutting station too.



First thing I wanted on this new improved cloner was an easy way to drain it without lugging the heavy fucker to a drain. I will have this spout so i can hook a hose to it run to the drain, nice and easy japaneasy.



I love these totes there like ready made with spots you can drill out to hang shit. Here my $18.00 dual port walmart air pump. I just drilled a few hole in the legs of the pump and tank and zip tie the pump to the side. Perfect.



And now im stoned hahaha. lol. Heres a look at how the air tubing connects to the main lines.



Don ta da. The finished tank with air pump mounted.

Now on to the lid.



Down to the last got damn hole. Well they're actualy square holes, but FUCK that was a tuff fkn job cutting them out with a razor knife. Thats some tuff plastic. But the ole razor is the best way to get a clean cut. Im using some foam building blocks for my pucks, DIY of course.



Heres the best and cheapest way i found on my diy hunts to make plugs or i call em pucks for the lid. Kids foam building block at wally world. $5.00. Perfect size for this application. Just dill a hole for the cuttings trim the sides and slice the fucker down the middle and wallaahh.



And they work just fantastic. I can open it up, put the cutting in and bam, plug into the lid.



And that completes shop class for today. Ohh but i think we should fire it up and see what she can do.



I set her up on some 6" block i had laying around so when I go to drain the hog it will gravity feed to the drain nicely.

I set it up in the nursery/future mom room for now which is where it will be anyways, but im running more power now. I could have put in in the mother room where the 1 600 is running 24/7 but it will just be in the way of tommorow project. Piggy back res tanks. wuhh hah. Like John Wayne would say. lol Im fried can you tell hehe.



And here she is in action. Took me just about an hour and a half to build. I wasn't really in no hurry. It cost me a total of about $40.00 US to build and it should root cuttings like a mo fo. The last one did and it was a piece of shit compared to this Cadillac cloner

Next Ill be taking some cuttings from the 3 purps. Got to get me a beer and some munchie quick. BRB with the topping procedures. Peace 1BMM.

Ok so now that we have built a Cadillac cloner on a Ford Pinto wallet we are ready to top the plants. Before topping i labeled each plant and its spot in the cadi cloner. They are in WK3 veg and growing quick. After some hard thiught i decided im goanna top and root the tops, and let the 3 doner plants veg for another week or two to see if any preflowers come out.

Im goanna top them at the 3rd node leaving about a half inch up on the main stem. If you cut to low eventually when the main stem growa it will split because of the lack of tissue in that node. Heres cutting #1.



The cutting looks way bigger than it actually is cus of the mylar.

I had learned cloning using rootone and it works good I think. Although ive never tried anything else. 100% root sucess I think ill stick with this shit.

I dont scar or slice up the stem. Ive found it actually slows the root development doing so. I do soak them in clean water for a few min then slice the bottom under water at a 45 with a steril razor blade.



All 3 plant produced diff size cuttings from the 3rd node. They go from 1 being the smallest to 3 being the largest. And this is #3 im almost certain this is a dude. After i topped #3 i noticed a preflower on the cutting. I tried but couldn't get a good close pic of the shlong. Its one of those bear claws with the dick in the middle. Im still gonna root it. I may put it out side and get some pollen from it for future stoner projects.



After the slice dip in the rootone place in the cadi cozey seat and into the bubbles.

I got the pump on a time regimn of 15min on 45 off. Seems to work pretty good. I may tinker withthe times later. For now i know this works.



I dont count that lowest node cause i always cut em off anyway. Sucker branches.

You want to leave some upward growth of the stem where you take the cutting. When the stems and braches grow and swell they will evetually absorb that upward growth and make a Y creating two growing tips.

I know some of you peeps already know this routine. This is one for the newbs



Timber........ Wacked the sucker in half. This actually makes the doner plant turn into a bush. Which i like for my moms. It give a more even selection of cuttings. and you can take a shit load of clones at one time if desired.

Yes GG They are Drains for landscape drainage purposes. They have been tested and approved by my bud jig fresh. a mem of the 600. I found them diy hunting before i met jig, its kinda cool how great minds think alike.

For nutes I would run with the Gold, Add 2.7, Silica, and Zone. Tell me again how many gallons you are running and I'll tell what sizes to get.

Approx 80 gallons at start of veg and im sure as the root mass grows that amount should go down quite a bit. Ill be keeping a hawks eye on it. Keeping acurate readings as i go. I do got some sativa strains on the way too. So im not scared to get plenty of what them ladies need.
