my results . 18 vs 24. 18 hour bigger roots. 24 bigger plants . smaller roots . 18 plant supported It self . 24 the plant did not. I had to use bamboo poles. this side by side was done during 95 f temps. in cooler 80f and under I noticed the 24 grew very slightly faster same roots as 18. best way to veg is . 6 on metal halide . then it turns off then a t5 turns on . for 6 hours then repeat it self ever 6 hours . mh to t5. benefits are . saves a shit load of electric the plants tend to grow just as fast as 24/7 with the mh bulb .

Yeah seems spot on n n if you live in the uk 6 or 5 hours saved each week at 5 is 35h per week were I use 6pence a hour is a few quid .i ain't got a calculator but for you boys burnin 1000w fukas ( if ya paying it all adds up).K as far as roots go I think the root ball is so important .im using 10l air pots now as some clued up friends have told me it's a must,I'll tell ya at harvest? There no problem cos they come flat n you bung two big blue screw things Done! A child could do it easy,! Respect Smudge
