I have a led with dimmer samsung diodes and meanwell driver, currently have seedlings on 18/6 but I’m leaning towards trying 24/0 for first month. Do u think yours would have turned out different if u had a dimmer in your led?
You will not benefit giving your plants no sleep. Plants need rest.

My pp veg in 24.....I'll throw a auto in there during that time. I've also had autos in while in 12/12. I have grown only mephesto autos. Autos are cool and have a place but I still prefer photos. For taste and strength.

Appreciate the info. Have u grown autos on a strict 18/6 or 24/0? That’s more of the info I need. I’m growing 4 auto seedlings and I’m trying to decide the perfect light schedule for them for max yields.

Have u never tried an auto that had the exact taste and strength u like that was cared for properly? Or for the autos u have tried was the light schedule geared more to photos?

DO AUTOFLOWERING CANNABIS PLANTS NEED A DARK CYCLE?
The short answer is yes with an “if”, and no with a “but”. If you want the highest potency and maximum yield, we suggest adopting either an 18-6 or 20-4 light-dark cycle. But should you run lights 24-0 indoors, your plants and all of your equipment like fans will be pushed to the limit as well. So far, 24-0 auto crops have failed to outperform those cultivated with dark cycles of 4–6 hours. There really is power on the dark side of the force.

This whole thread is about autoflowers. Despite your dislike for them, it's not bad advice, but thanks for your opinion.
AUTOFLOWER LIGHT SCHEDULE 18/6 20/4 24/0 which one has better results?
Please keep any photoperiod opinions to yourself, unless u grow in conjunction. I created this thread to get answers and opinions for AUTOS. If we’re not talking ab the light schedule then what are u doing here?

Your best bet is to try them both for yourself to get accurate answers.
There's to many expert novices mixing fact with fiction, idk htf anyone gets through a grow getting told conflicting information.

Come on someone please tell me why they need a dark period, it's piss easy to say yes or no going on what you have read, I'm not interested in what people read it's hands on experience that means something.

Exactly. I need hands on opinions. I can google these answers all day and still won’t actually know until I try it myself. This is why I decided to make an acc here so I can ask u fools “experienced growers” what u do and the mistakes u made so I can be the best grow god I can be and maximize potential.

After multiple autoflower runs, I've decided on 18/6 for myself. No reason you can't grow some beautiful plants with that schedule.

Personally I've run a 24/0 veg with my blurple and it turned out a great plant. I didn't have a timer or a specific grow space for this plant. I tossed it next to the furnace under the blurple 24/0 and wanted to see how it'd turn out. The plant had 24 hrs of light, no environment control, was consistently "cold" ~70F and low humidity ~30%-40%. Things don't have to be perfect to grow a great plant.

Last day under 24/0. AT_7_4_2020.jpg They were almost starting flower. Moved them into a tent on 18/6. AT1_8_6_2020.jpg Doesn't look shabby to be me for two freebie seeds.

I've never in 18/6. Only 24 and 12/12.

I still have a bunch of others from mephesto I haven't popped. Some the smell is better than the taste. The taste isn't bad at all....just not something I'd go looking for. And they all had this background similar taste.....but still different from each other if that makes sense.
