No, actually the exact opposite of awesome.
Your plants will revert to veg and start pushing out lots and lots of single blade leaves.

actually that isnt true. Its a technique used by some growers known as secondary budding and is said to possibly increase yield by 25% by elongating bud sites and filling them in although it adds an extra 4 weeks or so to the grow

i do the oposite i cut my lights back to 10/14 for the last 3 weeks. 18/6 before harvest wouldnt be smart. even if it did ad 25% more yield but tood a month longer thats 40% longer for 25% more
