16 plants 4x4 tent. Veg time advice/tips?

heres what id do, I have a sunhut oversized 4x4 (so 4.5x4.5) tent. Id put them, if you can fit em, in two galloon pots. Veg them, from seed, after they sprouted for a month or so, until they are about a foot tall. Just before that Id cut the top and do any sort of manipulating you want (LST< ECT) to get as many colas from each as you can. So, at a month they should be about a foot tall and the shape you want, and flower away. Id veg with the 1000 watt too tho, forget switching light.
Thanks for the advice, this is exactly what I was looking for. Should the seedlings be ready for flowering at that height? Because I heard that if they are from seed they need to mature before flowering.

Cool, thanks a lot. Also, my seeds are feminised. So am I good to go at flowering when they turn about 12 inches? Is there anything I should be concerned about by flowering early?

me personally, i'd go with 8 plants vegged to about a 12-18", topped twice, that are nice and bushy. i also like to prop the outer plants with small crates, buckets, whatever to achieve a stadium effect. new plants go in on the outside, peaking plants in the center, then back to the outside for finishing. i like to leave them in the shadows to finish to simulate autumn light intensity/angle. as far as SCROG goes, it's a bit too fussy for me. plus, i don't like dealing with a zillion small plants. do yourself a favor and go with half the number of plants. i like to bend/supercrop during flowering.
